We had a top freezer and it didn't work for us but the freezer on the bottom is perfect. The only issue is that the drawers in the refrigerator don't always open and close smoothly.

I was limited to selecting the same refrigerator by my kitchen spacial limitations. I prefer the large bottom freezer.

Another Great Amana Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is exactly what I needed and wanted. I purchased this sight unseen, but couldn't be happier with this model. The refrigerator section is well planned and affords maximum flexibility and accessibility to everything inside and in the door compartments. The slide out drawers of the freezer hold much more than I expected, and it is all easy to find. Nothing gets lost or hidden so there is less food waste. This unit is a winner.

Easy to find and locate what you have. My husband is tall so he finds things easier in the fridge with the freezer being on the bottom. This is my third fridge that I have owned now this style, and I will not go back to the other style. Please never stop making them!!!!!

Perfect in every way!

Space was very limited so we needed to go with the 29 inch wide size, smaller than the side by side we had before. We find it very handy with movable shelves and 3 drawers, 1 for meat and cheese and 2 for vegetables - perfect! We love the freezer on the bottom and the ice maker is also perfect with lots of cubes, handy tray and the pull out freezer drawer is so nice to be able to find things easily. We recommend this fridge with five stars!!!

Perfect refrigerator!

I like the pull out freezer drawer. Nothing can fall out as I am looking for things. There is no ice cube making or storage which is perfect for me so more room for frozen foods.

Very Quiet - Very Cool

The Amana directs cold air uniformly throughout both compartments. I have placed standup metal coil thermometers in each compartment to see status at a glance. Spaces are well lighted and designed with flexible partitions. I expect to get years of trouble free use from this " Made in America" unit.

Still getting used to meeting our needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were reluctant to depart with our 20 year refrigerator, but after seeing a bottom freezer unit at a relatives we wanted to try this. So far we are surprised at the convenience of this unit, and having all our foods visible and easily reached. It also works well for our guests.
We are still getting used to the new configuration, but are getting used to the better arrangement and storage capacity that fits our needs much better than we expected. And less noise!

Wanted freezer on bottom with a pullout basket.

More freezer space

I had to leave my new side-by-side with ice features when I sold my house and moved to an apartment in Minnesota. I did not like the one provided so was pleased to have permission to replace it. I lived in Iowa for 73 years so wanted to order from an Iowa plant. The plastic bin was scratched but my local dealer replaced it.

Great Refrigerator

We had lots of choices to pick from that were featured on the floor but we insisted that we wait for this specific one. We had to wait for delivery for almost 3 months due to the pandemic but it was well worth it.

Third Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the third one of this model I’ve bought. The first one was so a vacation home, not what I’d picked out but the contractor misread and, a happy accident, got this one. The tenants in my rental liked it so much they asked for one. We decided it was time to replace our 25 year old model in our house, so that’s three.
I like the freezer on the bottom and how easy it is to see what’s in the fridge and how easy it is to clean.

Worth the wait

We needed a height of no more than 66 inches and this unit is 65 1/2 (perfect). It is attractive, roomier than expected and the bottom freezer is easy to get used to and better for us seniors. It is solid and, so far, has been working great. Opening and closing the door requires getting used to. This is a really good bottom freezer refrigerator.
