This may be perfect for college dorms, but it also is perfect for my bedroom, where I will be recovering from a total knee replacement soon. I could not be happier with this purchase. It has a separate door freezer, which can hold ice trays and my gel ice packs. Plus, it is perfectly quiet unlike the smaller cube I previously had. The refrigerator section has a drawer and 2 shelves. The door has specialized storage for cans. This is utter convenience and I would highly recommend this.

Mini-fridge with great separate freezer. Great option for small apartment. Only downsides: awkward can holders instead of shelves on interior of fridge door & the crisper is super-small.

Bought this for my mom who's in assisted living. The fridge they provided her had a tiny freezer compartment built in to the refrigerator section. Her ice cream was mush there. This unit does what it needs to do. The freezer actually freezes and the refrigerator part doesn't. In trying to find a unit for my mom's needs, I found that most of the current choices take up half of the door storage with a can dispenser thingy. I guess those are great for college students who do soda and beer, but my mom doesn't use cans. The can holders in the door on this fridge are usable for mom for her water bottles and Ensure. And being able to use the door storage is really important since the unit sits under counter and it's hard for her to reach down inside. We're very happy with this reasonably priced mini-fridge and highly recommend it for seniors who like ice cream and don't drink soda/beer.

I bought this and it died within months; P.C. Richards gave me a new one but this one died also 2 years later. Now I'm stuck. And I paid way too much back then. Very unhappy with the store and the brand.
