Comments about Beko 30" Stainless Steel Front Control Gas Range:
Bought this range because it blew all the others out of the water with looks, appearance of quality and utility. When I received the range, it was slid into it's new spot in my new kitchen and immediately plugged it in before connecting gas to it. After a few days I noticed the time was far off from my new GE Profile microwave above it. After resetting the time, I realized the clock on the range was losing 1.5 minutes per day. After calling service, they promptly came out and determined the front panel display needed replacement, so they ordered a new one. After a few weeks, P.C. Richard called and offered me a new replacement to my range because there was a delay in getting the new part, (was coming from Turkey). After telling them I would wait for the part, they called me the next day to offer me a refund, told them "no, I'll wait for the part". Part gets replaced, same problem, loses 1.5min/day. Repair guy comes back out, they don't know much about these he says, gets on the phone with Beko tech support, and orders a new main board. Main board?? It's a gas range! A few weeks go by and repair guy comes back with the new main board which is as big as a desktop computer motherboard. Problem solved. Range works great! Now a new problem pops up. When using the oven for baking, once the oven gets to temp it starts buzzing relatively loud. Now it does this 85% of the time it gets used. Call service back, tech turns on the oven, no noise, just the fan kicks on. Tech leaves, I turn on the oven, it buzzes, no fan. Luckily I recorded it with my cellphone before the tech got there and he saw the video. Called repair back, they ordered the new part, tech comes back, turns out they ordered only the fan blade and not the motor. Motor is ordered, but a few weeks go by and P.C.R calls offering me a new range because the part is delayed from Turkey........again. Told them I'd wait for the part. Never will I recommend an Arcelik made appliance, (parent company of Beko and Blomberg.
