Great switch, works with Alexa-Never any issues
I've had this switch for over 4 years and never had an issue. It works with Alexa which is wonderful (this is why I ordered it with the first Alexa device).

Love these devices
I just bought three more Belkin Wemo switches for Christmas lights, which brings the total number of Wemo devices at my home to 19, including light switches. I love the fact I can control them on several different schedules, including using internet time for dusk and dawn. I can also control them remotely to provide some measure of peace-of-mind when we are away from home. I use them for security and to enhance the setting of the house at night when guests visit.

I love it! Very convenient and easy to setup.
I bought two a couple of years ago. They work great! I read a review that this device doesn’t work if the software upgrade on the app is accepted/installed so I’ve always declined that upgrade. I like the conhirncr of turning lights on and off especially when away on vacation.

Pretty Helpful for my Aquarium Lighting / Pumps
I've used the Wemo Smart Plug for a few years now to control my aquarium LED lights and as a smart way to do aquarium water changes. I used to need help to do water changes because the pump was in another room but with the smart plug I can control pump from my phone while I watch my fish tanks fill.

Can I operate this switch with a laptop
We have been using this switch for several years to control security cameras at a remote location. Is it possible to operate it with a laptop as well as a smartphone? Since I don't have a smartphone I must call my son when the switch needs to be used.

Been using over 2 years never any issues.
Belkin does great with these products. I have never been happier with an outlet plug. I like the fact that I can program when to turn on and off with my phone. They alway are updating the firmware to keep up with new changes. I would recommend this one to anyone who wants to turn on/off a device with thier phones and/or who what to turn on lights with their phone at Sunset or sunrise. Only feature I would think that is missing would be turning on the device after you give it power once it gets connected.

Love this thing!
I have just bought my 2nd Wemo switch and am loving it! The options with them are endless. Am using it with my Echo Dot and IFTTT to tie into my surveillance system for motion detection and switching. So cool!

I have two! They both work perfectly!
I use these everyday to connect to lights set up outside. One is set to automatically turn on and off, and the other I control solely from the phone. Can't say I've had any of the problems people talk about in the other reviews. Automation is where it's at. I'll be picking up more…

Great convience
Bought this before Christmas to use for turning on and off my tree and this made my life easier because the outlet was under a table. Once we had it set up it was great to be able to ask Alexa to turn off the tree and now we have a light under a fantastic picture. What a difference it makes. We enjoy the first one so much we bought 2 additional.

I Like my WeMo!
One year ago,I bought two WeMo switches for two lamps in the house. I have been totally satisfied with them. I particularly like the fact that I can switch lights on and off while I am away on vacation. I have bought them as gifts for friends and they are as happy with their WeMo as I am. Last week, I ordered two more switches, and look forward to using them as well.

Great dependable Switches
I own 5 of these switches, and use them all the time. On lights, Christmas
lights, etc. Love being able to control my lighting if I'm not home. The Wemo app
works great on my IPhone, been using these switches for a couple years now and
other than an occasional reset have not had any issues at all. Good job Belkin !!

Gets the job done!
I needed a way to turn the Christmas tree on and off, so I got this switch to use with Alexa in hopes it would handle at least 1,800 watts. Nowhere does Belkin tell you the wattage, they should, it's a great selling point. See video.

Love my Wemo brand products
Read an article about making it look like your home when your not and then it went on to give an example and talk about the Wemo Light switch and outlet switch so it got me thinking about our outside lights not being able to be turned on when we are away and other lights in the house. We are all about safety with all the break-ins going on, so we ordered two Wemo light switches and one Wemo switch and we absolutely love love love them because with the free app you can download onto your phone and control them from anywhere or set them up on a timer and never have to worry. We love this product so much that we went back and ordered two more switches to put on other items in the house.

Loved So Much Gave As Gift!
Really like these outlets (they call them switches). We often have outages, so it's a relief to know our lights are working at the correct times while we are away. 2nd outlet was a little problematic, followed the instructions when a second outlet doesn't work and it popped-up and was operating.

Works Like a Champion
The Wemo switch works amazingly well. Set-up was much easier than the Wemo Light Switch and it works every time. The ability to schedule of and on times is awesome.
