It Just Keeps Improving
Comments about Bethesda The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited for Xbox One:
When this game launched for the Xbox One, I was pretty excited as the Elder Scrolls are my favorite games besides Mass Effect. Unfortunately, it wasn't quite what I expected the game to be. While the characters were compelling enough and the quests alone were interesting, the necessity of doing menial side quests and the inability to play with friends in other factions kept causing me to abandon the game for month long stretches. However, the recent update of One Tamriel seems to have rectified my biggest complaints. This still isn't a Skyrim caliber game, but for an MMO it's pretty darn good and it just keeps getting better. 2016 is definitely the time to get into this game if you haven't before.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

3 out of 5 not to bad
I am a little disappointed because I love Skyrim, and this is really nothing like it.

Many Better Games
I would rather play neverwinter a F2P MMORPG over this lousy excuse of a game the only reason that you should even consider picking it up is because you are a Massive Elder Scrolls fan like me that will play any scrap of content that they produce no matter how over priced; it's not worth the money
Will I ever beat this game?
To answer that question: no, probably not. Elder Scrolls Online is a very social in regards to the online aspect of the game, but the game play itself is mediocre at best. I found the intertwining of the story and the online world frustrating due to the fact that you must do more than a hundred online missions just to simply get through the story even though the story is single player itself and completely separate from the online world. I will not deny the graphics are decent, but the game drags out missions with repetitive themes and lame replicas of characters so well implemented in Skyrim. If you are looking for Skyrim, go buy Skyrim, because it will only pain you to see how its been cut and pasted to include all of Tamriel.
Only reason I got this was to transfer my pc character. Come to find out they only let you do that in a small window before the game was released.
Fun with Friends
It is a fun game but a lot better with a group of friends to run around with. Many will expect Skyrim style gameplay but it is definitely a MMO.
Great game, shame about the bugs
The game is an online version of Skyrim and Oblivion and from that perspective excellent. Graphics are a bit better and there is so much to do and explore. I would give the game a 5 for playability and content. Unfortunately, in spite of being available for a year or so on PC, the initial week of game play had so many bugs and hours of waiting to get onto the servers, that both my kids gave up after a couple of days and are back to playing Destiny and GTA V. Fix the server availability as priority 1! It is ridiculous to have to wait for an hour just o get onto the server to play the game.
Game of the year
One of the best games ever made for the Xbox one... If you love mmos or RPGs you will love this game. Took away the paid monthly subscription so that's a bonus. PVP is great. Role playing is great. The game is great.
