It will still be cleaning stairs long after I am gone
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i bought it to vacuum the stairs (my Dirt Devil broke in two pieces, after 15 or 20 years). This one does not weigh a lot and I can use it in spite of my age (89); in other words, it is exactly what I needed to keep clean stairs. [I would not bother writing a review if it were not for the sweepstakes -- I understand I have to use that word in the review, and so I did.]

Bought to vacuum the stairs (on CR recommendation)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] sweepstakes: the real reason for this review (otherwise I would not bother) My old Dirt Devil fell apart. I bought this Pet-Hair Eraser specifically to vacuum the stairs. Before buying it (online, directly from Bissell), I checked ratings and recommendations. It works beautifully and is light enough for an older person who cleans her steps all by herself. Would buy it again any time (it won't happen though: the Pet-Hair Eraser will outlive me -- I am 88+).

Love this little thing!

Great vacuum for pet care

It picks up the cat fur efficiently and quickly. We can easily get into all the nooks and crannies. Nice small size and weight. This vac is precisely what we were looking for!

Strong suction, long cord, easy to empty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Long cord is a good feature, the suction is strong, easy to empty and the portable hand-held vacuum size is perfect for clean up outside litter boxes, on stairs, on chair cushions with rubber attachment. Sound of motor does not scare my cat. Should come with an instruction booklet and information on when to replace filter, and I wish the filter had a retaining clip.

I have had this product for close to 20 years.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the hand held vac almost 20 years ago to use on my carpeted stairs. It did fantastic! My only problem is getting into corners. Even if I switch heads, the corners are tough. It has ample power for many other tasks around the property. I have used it on vehicle floor mats, seats, furniture and occasionally a hairy coat. It is great for those little spills & messes if you don't want to get vacuum out.

Definitely recommend dog/cat owners to buy this product

I also used it on their blanket it's amazing! So after I use my bissell electric broom for the floors I switch over to the eraser and give my furniture a once over.

You must advertise this product more.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's not very frequent that a product exceeds my expectations, but this little staircase vacuum did. Instead of breaking down one of my large vacuums and putting myself in to a hot air sauna on my confined stairwell, l was able to clean quickly without kneeling! It was almost a joy-almost. I purchased a bundle pack from another vendor my BISSELL has a 20 foot cord and slightly higher amp. The longer cord makes it possible to clean all my steps and landing without changing outlets. The design is genius, the rubber tip nozzle vacuums both tread and riser, and compact size allows me to get thru banister to clean the outside portions of treads. Only problem I had was finding this little marvel. I searched many times and websites to find a handheld vacuum designed and powerful enough to meet my requirements. Happy to say I finally did. So let others know and advertise this vacuum more. I very highly recommend!
