Poor design linking all features to the remote
Comments about Bose® Wave® music system IV:
Radio works well and sound is very good --- If you lose the remote all function is lost .Preferred the old model with controls on top. Can't turn the radio on or off or do anything without the remote. Definitely not an enhancement to the product.

My Wave Bose Does not display CD-TEXT, no even with original music CDs
No Toslink Optical in jack on back of Wave IV
With new TV's not having RCA type Audio out jacks, you cant have the sound from the TV go to your Bose radio unless it's with a cumbersome digital audio converter. Bose should have a Toslink optical input on back of the units. It's 2016, not 1989.
Can't wait for Soundlink on Windows 10
I love my Wave Radio/CD!!! After years of satisfied use, I have been disappointed that since my upgrade to Windows 10 my Soundlink hasnt' been working. So I was so glad when the Bose management promised a fix for the Windows 10/Wave Soundlink driver problem today, 7/29/16.. Can't wait for that promised update. We will be sitting by, tolerating those tinny laptop speakers while you work, and looking forward to that unmatched Bose sound!
Wave music system
Good sound and clear. Can not turn display compleatly off. It has good features.
I bought one like this one years ago. The only problem I have had is the remote. Without the remote I can't get anything to work on it.

The only musical appliance you need.
My old Bose Wave Radio (BWR) finally died after 20 years. When I inquired about repairing it, I was offered an upgrade from Bose that absolutely amazed me. I got a generous discount towards the latest model which I could not turn down. I sent back my old unit and had my Wave Music System IV (BWMS) as it called these days in a week. Initially I thought the bass response was a bit boomy compared to the BWR. I have gotten used to that and it isn't a factor. One of the best things I added to it was the Bluetooth module so I can stream or play music from my mobile devices. Like the commercials used to state, "it has room filling sound that compares to multiple component Hi Fi system." All my Hi Fi gear that I spent over $10K on just sits anymore except when I play an LP. While some may think the BWMS is a bit expensive, its performance and value is worth every penny. You will not regret your decision to own one.

I was about to cry ,had our Bose for 10 years, and all the sudden remote decided to run away, surched every where. So I thought ,well I will have to order one ,called to do so and the wonderful lady on the phone(sorry I did not remember her name)she was so helpful to order one for me and with no charge! Well I got it yesterday and I'm a very happy lady!!!!?

I've always been a great fan of Bose products since I purchased my first set of 901 speakers while stationed overseas in the late 1970's and have never been amazed at the quality merchandise they have continued to produce since. However I have to admit that I was blown away when I first heard the Wave IV system. Once again you have excelled my expectations. Recommend this product!!!!!!!!
Christmas gift. Opened up, plugged it in great sound as expected. Next morning no sound. Did all the trouble shooting steps, at one point it came on long enough to play 2 songs on a CD and then nothing. I'm very disappointed. We waited a long time to get this radio and didn't expect it to fail in the first 24hrs. It will be going back on Monday unless Bose support has some magic.
