Good looking, poor quality

Comments about Broan 48" Ducted Range Hood - Stainless Steel:

Bought it for looks; paying for poor quality. During installation, missing part cost us another $200 to custom fab. Within a first month of operation, started making this metal-on-metal grinding noise that made it sound like a jet engine taking off, rite in the middle of our house! Scares kids! Got it fixed; loose screw the tech said. Happening again, but literally the week I called, it was out of warranty! (As with many major projects, we bought it months before we had it installed! So didn't even get a full year of warranty. )
