Excellent batteries at an affordable price
They are reliable and I have used this brand for ages
They are somewhat expensive but worth it
I do dislike the fact that once the pack is opened the shelf life seems to go down rather fast

I love using Duracell batteries for that because they last a long time and Duracell's reputation helps me to feel that my family would be safer if we ever had a fire in our home. I always keep Duracell 9 volt batteries on hand for whenever the current batteries in my smoke detector run low. The fact that these batteries are guaranteed to last 5 years always makes me feel confident that they will last until I need them.

Little did I know that they would be used for something more important. Hurricane Ian was heading our way so we gathered our supplies and started replacing batteries, turns out it was my daughter's flashlight that needed 9V. We spent 2 days without power, and those batteries never failed us. Duracell is our go to batteries for everything now.

I like that they are guaranteed 5 years in storage so I can purchase them to keep on hand, knowing they will be good for a while. I like having extra 9 volt batteries because my kids sometimes get gifts that require them and they aren't batteries we buy often. I would purchase these again.

The Duracell batteries seem like they are lasting longer in my smoke detector than the other cheaper ones. There isn't anything I didn't like about this product. I've been buying budget batteries for a long time as they are quite pricey and batteries are not always the first source of power anymore. However, like a blessing from above, I was able to get these as Hurricane Ian continues to inch its way closer to my home. And I've already tried them out in my lanterns and pumps, and they definitely crank the machines stronger and brighter than the other batteries I was using. These are 100% my top pick for emergency batteries in the future.

For things as important as a smoke detector that can save lives you do not want to worry about the battery not working. With Duracell 9V you don't have too.

Recently however, this has also happened with Energizer batteries so I decided maybe Duracell isn't so bad, after all. 9 volt batteries have never leaked on me before so I was game to try these in a carbon monoxide detector I have in my home. They seem to work great so I have no complaints.

Most brands that I've tried don't last for a whole day. However the Duracell batteries allowed for me to listen to my favorite radio channel without having to worry it'll turn off after a few hours. Great product.
