Equals my first!
Comments about Dyson Animal Bagless Upright Vacuum:
I love this vacuum! This is my fourth, I had the original orange and after nine years it still is working perfectly. I gave it to my sister, I have the rechargeable one, love it. The only I don't like is my canister. I will probably give that away. I also have the original hand held one and I use it everyday! Love Dyson!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

A Very nice Vacuum
I have two of these. I purchased one a few years ago and they have update the design now and it collapses better. i also found that it has more power which I needed to vacuum up animal hair and other hard to lift items.
I love it. I have a bad ...
I love it. I have a bad hip and knee and it is so light and easy to handle. Also, small enough I can vacuum the stairs without using an attachment. I have 2 dogs and I can't believe the dog hair it picks up.
I absolutely love my DC50.....It is so easy to use, lightweight, and picks up all my dog and cat hair with ease......best vacuum I have ever owned....and look forward to vacuuming now!!!!!!
Got a lemon
The vacuum worked briefly but then it stopped picking up anything. It actually leaves more on the carpet than was there before. Not sure what the problem is...it was emptied so that's not the issue.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Attachments need work
First off, let me say this vacuum picks up dog hair like nothing I've ever used. I have two Jack Russells, and one "shoots" hair just standing still. I have hardwood floors throughout, with a few throw rugs, and this thing really is great at cleaning both surfaces. And I do love that the maneuverability of the unit. The upholstery attachment works wonderfully...if it wasn't for having to fight the hose. It is difficult to maneuver the attachments because of the way the hose coils, and I end out fighting the hose the entire time I'm using the tools. The crevice tool doesn't work very well at all, doesn't seem that the suction from vacuum makes its way to the end.
sucks like a banshee the only problem the dirt chamber is way to small your constantly emptying the thing
Love the vac
I was amazed at how well the DC50 worked. My housekeeper had just cleaned my home on the day that my vac arrived. I instantly put the vac together and started using it. I was amazed at how much additional grit, dust, debris, etc. that the DC50 picked up. I am a happy Dyson owner. I own two homes and have now purchased a total of 4 Dysons (two of them being the cordless style). Love, love them! I now want to get a Dyson air purifier.
My dc50 has great suction. It does get clogged fairly easily so I have to be careful about what I run over. It is easy to take apart so cleaning out the clog isn't that bad. I have 2 cats and a dog so allot of fur. I love my vacuum..
Best vacuum ever.
I normally do not write reviews but I love this piece of equipment. If the bigger vacuums from dyson are this good or better they are all well worth the price you pay. I cleaned my house the day before I got this dyson and hardly emptied anything out of it. As soon as i got this I put it together and cleaned my house again. I did not even finish one room and realized how bad the other vacuum was. I went over every room twice and now I clean once every other week. My house has never been so clean. Thank you to my friend that recommended it to me.
