It does an amazing job
from Benbrook, TX, United States
After waiting 2.5 weeks for my washer (it came dented the first time), I was thrilled when it was ready to use. The steam mode is fantastic--I've not seen my white towels that white in years. And the pet bedding as well as the stuffed animal function was something I tested right away. The loads were large and bulky and I was happily surprised that the washer didn't "walk" at all (as my previous ones have). This was a fantastic choice.
Defective Design - Hose connecting tube to pump
from Redondo Beach, CA, United States
We just had major leak from our Electrolux Front Load Washing Machine. Problem is with Electrolux P/N 134639910 hose. This hose is a bellows type hose and when filled with water it will droop and come into contact with polyester foam block acting as a cushion for the water filled hose. Our hose developed a wear point and eventually a leak. The polyester foam block appears to be an open cell material and is the cause of the issue. The cellular structure of this type of foam is actually like very fine sandpaper and over time wear occurs on the rubber hose and eventually a leak. THIS IS AN ELECTROLUX DESIGN FLAW. Correction is either to add a non-abrasive facing to the foam or find another way to support the hose when full of water. I am a Mechanical Engineer, my firm sell polyester open and closed cellular materials as used in this machine. The Electrolux design is wrong using an inappropriate material and/or this is a Band-Aid fix for a larger design issue.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Best washer, ever!
By Gene W

We bought the nearly perfect washer about two months ago, and glad we did. It is the highest quality washer we have ever had, or that we know about. The option to create your own custom cycles is great. Reservations? Only one, and not sure our fear will come true, the small tray where you put the detergent and softener seems a little weak, but we will have to see how it holds up over time.
Great High End Model
from West Brandywine, PA
We bought this a month ago and so far it lives up to all expectations. The salesman tried to sell us on the newer model but it didn't have all of the features of the 70. When I asked why he said that it was a manufacturers cost saving measure but that this newer model would do everything we could want. Apparently it was not everything my wife could want so we went with the 70. So far we couldn't be happier. It's fast and the clothes come out pristine.

Best washer ever!

This washer has exceeded my expectations. I never realized that my clothes weren't getting cleaned with my old washer until I got the Electrolux WaveTouch. My clothes come out so bright and clean!
Washer is Great times 2!
from Claysburg, PA
I originally purchased all new kitchen and laundry appliance for our house in Hanover, PA two years ago. I liked them so much I bought the same ones when we purchased our resort home in Claysburg, PA this year. The washer cleans exceptionally well. It has numerous settings for normal, whites, heavy duty (comforters, etc.), active wear, fast wash, hand wash, etc. Each of those settings provides additional options like adding steam, how heavily soiled the clothes are, water temperature and the machine adjusts it cycle accordingly. They are large capacity so I don't need to break down loads into two smaller ones. This saves time, water, detergent and energy. The spin cycle does such a great job the clothes are almost damp dry when they come out. This makes the dryer time fairly quick. I absolutely love these appliances.
