Comments about Frigidaire Gallery 30" Free Standing Electric Range - Smudge-Proof Stainless Steel:
The cooktop cooks to slow and does not clean as easy as my old stove. The racks in the oven are very light weight and give in the middle if you place any type of heavy dish, so what will happen when I place a 20 pd turkey? I hate the temp setting and timer, is not very efficient and aggravating to operate
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

We purchased a new Frigidaire stove because the last stove we had was a Frigidaire and it lasted about 20 years and I was really impressed with the qyality. We wanted another just like it. I love the warming zone and the meat thermometer. Overall qualuty is fantastic.

Bought it in May and the installers did a terrific job putting in my new kitchen. Good brand name. Directions for easy bake is a little confusing but overall very happy with the product.

Think before you buy
from Ringoes, NJ
I had another glass top oven and this in comparison is awful. I wish I had not bought it. It is too complicated/hard to use. The timer is very challenging to set (especially if you have arthritis as I do - then it is painful; the timer goes past the setting you want and you have you back it up with individual "hits") and it is confusing (timer and clock are on the same button and when I am trying to set the timer, I have accidentally reset the clock). To shut off the stove, you have to hit cancel - a friend who used my oven did not figure that out and left it on - I came home hours later to discover that. The top does not stay clean - the first time I used it left marks. The oven seems a little off temperature (although I have not measured it). I have burned a couple things following the times/temperatures in recipes I had used before with no issues. And it was so much money....not sure how it compares to others in price.

Seems to be working the way it was advertised. I really like the glass top and the burners that turn on and off to keep the temperature constant. Good Value
