Comments about Frigidaire 14.56 Cu. Ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator - White:
This is a basic, smaller-sized refrigerator: I don't need an oversized appliance with ice makers, water dispensers, etc.--I was looking for a box that would keep food cold in the refrigerator and frozen in the freezer. I got exactly what I was looking for. However, what I was not expecting was the sheer amount of room inside the refrigerator! The design is clever: kudos to whoever thought about efficient and innovative ways of maximizing the interior space. Case in point: the special niche in the door that is exactly the size of a gallon of milk--perfect! Technically, this refrigerator is exactly the same size as the one it replaced; however, I can fit about twice the items in it. It does make some odd noises--some rattles, a creaking....but it's actually quite quiet, especially in contrast to the racket my old refrigerator would make. This one was a bit alarming at first: was it even running? A month and a half in to my ownership, I'm very pleased with this. So far, so good!

My landlord ordered me this frigidaire a few months back and I love it! It has so much space and the stainless steel exterior is beautiful for any kitchen setting.
Only two problems
By Betty S

I'm still happy with my fridge after 3 months or so, but it is a bit noisy. Sometimes it makes a slightly loud popping noise. I can usually hear it when it runs, which I rather like. Also, I can not determine from the instruction booklet whether or not I am supposed to clean the pan into which the water goes when the unit defrosts. But so far so good!

I purchased this appliance to replace a current Frigidaire refrigerator that the condenser went bad in. Not happy with this appliance at all. Refrigerator would not cool down below 44 degrees, turns out a fan was not connected, once it was it turned out to need to be replaced. Appliance still does not cool below 43 degrees when set on the normal setting; food safety requires food to be stored at 41 degrees or below. I have had to set the temp control knob approximately half-way between the normal setting and the coldest setting and the temp is at 41 degrees. I am not pleased that this is a problem, food safety should be a priority and correct temperature control should not be a problem. The fact it was shipped in disrepair leads me to be wary of Frigidaire.

Lots of space and great door shelf capacity!

Love the clean lines, crisper drawers slide in and out easily. Nice deep shelves in freezer door too. It beeps when the door is left open or does not close completely after a few minutes, so I know I'm conserving energy and keeping my utility bills low.
Great apartment size model

Bought this a few months ago for apartment unit. Perfect width, depth and height size with modern day features.
How quiet and how well it cools and freezes.

My old frig was 40+ years old, very noisy and had quit cooling, when I bought the Frigidaire, I did not regret it one dollar.
Compact for Small Spaces

My refrigerator was very old and needed to be replaced. I liked it, but it was so large I couldn't open the door to my basement all the way. As I now live alone, I decided to get a smaller refrigerator. This refrigerator is much more compact and looks great. However, it's much shorter than I expected. Since I'm tall, I have to bend down to access most items. I now wish I'd paid more attention to the height, and perhaps gotten a bottom freezer just for my ease of use. But it is working well, fits my smaller space, moves easily on it's wheels, and the price was right. I'm satisfied, but I do NOT recommend it for a family as there is not enough space for that. Single or shorter people may find it suitable, and it would be excellent for efficiency apartments.
