Missing 1 thing!!!
from Laurinburg, NC, United States
I love this fridge, but I wish the pull out drawer (for snacks) in the refrigerator was accessible from the exterior. Each time you want something like a sandwich or snack you have to open both doors to slide the drawer out, which a negative for energy saving. On the plus side .... It is humongous!!! So it holds lots of stuff. Oh and if you want lots of ice this is not the fridge for you, since it has an extremely small ice bucket which is housed on the door. This leaves extra space for the interior of the fridge. It does make a little more noise than we were used to, but the features make the positives outweigh the negatives.
Crushed Ice Scatters; Fresh Food Fan Failed
By Buddy Driggers
from North Carolina
As other reviewers have said, ice from the dispenser flies in all directions when selecting crushed ice. Drinking containers with openings of virtually any size can NOT catch this ice, contrary to the advice from GE on this site. It's a mess every time. Very poor design. Also, food in the refrigerator was "sweating" and relatively warm for a while, even though the temperature was set at 34. In addition, there was a significant amount of frost buildup in the in the bottom-load freezer; the freezer was not left open, other than with normal use. We called GE the technician who came immediately knew the problem, saying that this was a KNOWN ISSUE with this model. He replaced the fresh food fan, which seems to have addressed the issue, at least for now.

Everything is great except. ..

I went to put a few pictures on the screen, but the first time I tried to use it the USB plug went up into the fridge before I even touched it.
Plenty of Storage yet Noisy
from Owensboro, KY, United States
We purchased this product this past spring. Loved the sleek appearance and the ample storage it provided, however now, after using it for a few months we have a few complaints. It is incredibly loud for a refrigerator, even in comparison to our 10 year old model we replaced. We are also having problems with the ice/water lever sticking, so we have to manually pull it out to stop it.
Very Large Fridge
from San Antonio, TX, United States
Bought this fridge a week ago. There is a ton of space and it keeps everything super cold. The water feature is awesome because you know exactly how much your getting.
Great space and adjusts quickly
from Montgomery, TX, United States
I am one-step closer to finding the perfect fridge after HATING the last one. Our builder picked this and it is almost perfect. Lots of space for tall objects. Deep shelves hold a lot. My one gripe is the ice maker. It does not hold a lot of ice. However, there is a drawer in the freezer to dump spare ice for this problem. I just always forget to do that. So, I bought a bag of ice for spare.
nice frige sorta
By not cold enuf for my milk
from Mansfield, OH, United States
plenty of room for everyday food items, sounds like a air plane when it turns on so possibly a bad fan, cools well but don't seem to get cold enough to keep my milk at the right tem. Maybe its because of the noisy fan.

After less than three years of service, the freezer stopped working properly, The GE repairman said that the problem was caused a fan that stopped working. A fan should not fail after less than three years of use. I am disappointed with this expensive refrigerator and will be very reluctant to purchase any GE appliance in the future.
