Great design, but short-lived washer
from Fort Myers, FL
Bought new washer/dryer Sept. 2013. Loved them! My 4th set of stacking units since 1976 - although this was new design. Suffered catastrophic failure in washer Aug. 2016 - less than 3 years old. Repairs as much as new washer. No, I'm not happy, but, yes, I am replacing washer with the same model - otherwise I would have to buy another dryer. I am purchasing a maintenance contract this time. Until this failure, I had no problems and I really like a front loading washer, and having my dryer at shoulder height.

Machine was an excellent addition. It replaced a foreign unit.

Gentle on clothing

I'm pleased with the performance in getting my clothes clean and stains out of them. I needed a washer and dryer that would stack and fit in a particular place in my kitchen. This set works perfectly (with several inches to spare).

Overall quiet and efficient machine. Nice looking and stackable
Broke after second load.
from Raleigh, NC, United States
The first load went fine. However on the second load when it went to the spin cycle, there was a loud banging sound. I paused the spin cycle and emptied the washer to see if something was in the tub and there wasn't. I resumed the spin cycle and the sound ended however at 1 minute remaining, the washer remained locked and could not restart.
