Comments about GE 23.75" Double Electric Wall Oven - Stainless Steel:
dear staff, oven cooks great. just baked turkey balls. since I retired I do the cooking. wife does the cake bakeing. family/ grandchildren love the food that I cook. a granddaughter came from fla. for several days from school, she didn't want to go eat out anywhere, she was texting to her friends, " my pap is spoiling me, brown sugar pork tenderloins, TB's, ribs." the oven also heats to the operating temp. quickly. looking forward to years of great usuage of the GE ovens.

Perfect for 24" width location; works well
from Eva AL
The double oven that came with the home we purchased was not working properly, so we needed a replacement: as near as I can tell from my internet search, GE is the only manufacturer still making a 24" double oven, which we needed to fit the existing location in our kitchen (the layout of the kitchen does not lend itself to modification to a wider oven.) So, although I was disappointed not to be able to upgrade to a convection oven, I am very happy that this oven exactly fit the spot in our kitchen, and everything works as advertised! Seems to run slightly hot, that is things cook in 10-20% less time than recipes call for, and/or need to be set at 25 degrees or so lower temperature; but I noticed that issue with previous all-electric ovens as well. Just check on your food before the "recipe" time is up, if you don't want things overcooked!

I like the easy clean up. What else do you want me to say. You are too particular.
Why I bought

Easy to use and a good value compared to other brands.
Pleased with heating evenness
from Athens, GA, United States
Have owned this double oven for about 3 months, and I am pleased with its performance. While it takes longer to reach the set temperature (e.g., 350 degrees) then the alert sound would have you believe, it is dead on the temperature as compared to a Taylor oven thermonitor.
Nice. Preheats in 2 minutes.
Be sure to read the installation instructions carefully. Installer missed the instruction to cut a hole in the solid bottom if used instead of runners for proper cooling and had to do it over again

built in double ovens
from San Mateo, CA, United States
I'm totally disappointed in my built in double oven. It has a much smaller interior than my Whirlpool. It has one computerized oven that has never had or kept the right temperature. The service man who came out didn't have a thermometer to check it after he put in a new mother board. I had to get a thermometer to check it and it was incorrect.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Even Heating and Quiet
from Commerce Charter Township, MI, United States
I've only had the ovens for about a week, but so far, I'm impressed. The window in the door is in the perfect place to view what's cooking. I made cookies and they baked so evenly. In the past, my cookies fell the middle Cooking time seems right on. Also, it is so quiet. No loud roaring fan after the oven is shut off.

I installed today but I find out the upper oven door doesn't closed tight. I don't know what to do.
