Comments about GE 24" Buil-In Dishwasher - Black on Black:
We bought this for our office. The interior is quite small and we don't like the tops on the silverware compartments.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This washer was installed by our builder in our new house. It works well and doesn't require a lot of pre-washing of the dishes in order for them to get clean which is great. I wish the washer was a bit deeper in order to be able to fit more on the top rack. My biggest complaint is that the washer has an alarm that goes off when the load is complete- it is a high pitched beeping noise that goes off every 2 minutes x 3 beeps. I'm not sure why anyone would need an alarm telling them that the dishes are clean, and the alarm is so high pitched that I avoid starting a load of dishes in the evening before I go to bed because the washer wakes me up when it's done running. I've tried to figure out how to turn off this feature with no success.
Had to get shorter dishwasher and this was recommended . Has done well,

I BOUGHT THIS DISHWASHER LAST JULY AND DO LIKE IT. THE ONLY THING I DISLIKE ABOUT IT IS THAT IT ISN'T BIG ENOUGH,BUT IT WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT WAS AJUSTABLE AND I COULD USE.
Would be great for two people

This was the only dishwasher that would fit under my counter top. I like GE, so I was happy....until I tried loading it. The top rack is so small. 5 glasses fit from front to back - that's how NOT deep the top rack is. The dishwasher runs really well. Its quiet and I have no complaints with the cleanliness of the dishes. Its just so small. My old dishwasher held almost twice as much. This would be the perfect dishwasher for a couple.
Perfect for low countertop

We bought this in January and have been pleased with its performance. It is small enough to fit under our low counter top and operates very quietly.

very small interior
Had to purchase an ADA dishwasher because we had our flooring replaced in our kitchen and we didn't have height clearance for a standard-sized dishwasher. Unfortunately, this dishwasher is only 2 inches shorter than a standard dishwasher, but only holds approximately 3/4 of the dishes/glasses, etc. as our previous model. Very disappointed in the size of this model, especially due to it's price. Looks nice and runs well, but not big enough for a small family of 3. Serving utensils and cookie sheets do NOT fit in this dishwasher.
It's high tech but...

This dishwasher is too small for me. There is barely any room to put in normal cookware like a sauce pan or 13x9 pan. I love that you delay a wash and I like all the cycle options but over all this thing frustrates me all the time bc I cannot fit all my dishes in at one time like with other dishwashers. It may work for someone who does not use as many dishes but for a family of four it just is a pain.
