Good price for the features offered.

Required a new fridge immediately. This GE Profile had all the features we were looking for and the price was reasonable.
Freezer Drawers to narrow, fall off track
from Clovis, CA (near Fresno)
Extremely disapointed in freezer usability; Freezer Drawers are too narrow and fall off track all the time and drop down. Repairman can't fix because new drawers would be the same width.and he doesn't want to try bending them.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
No water on day 1
from Clarksburg, MD, United States
The builder installed this for us, with no choices of other manufacturers. For the first time, I came into the house after closing on the sale for a glass of water. The water dispenser wouldn't work. No water comes out. No ice, crushed ice, quick ice, nothing comes out. Just air. Looked at the trouble shooting guide, It said on a brand new fridge, keep the dispenser pressed for at least 2 minutes for the air to go out and for the water to start flowing. I kept it pressed for 5 full minutes. Still only air comes out, no water.
Poor Workmanship Freezer and Less Usable Space
from Glen Allen, VA, United States
I have owned this side-by side now for three now and I am extremely disappointed. I should have written this before now but I feel others should know my frustrations. I replaced ALL of my white kitchen appliances with the GE Profile stainless steel (we went for the look of the GE). I do not know how GE equates their Cu. footage, but I went from a WP side-by-side which measured .1 cu.ft. less that the GE yet when I transferred the contents of the WP to the GE, I lost 1 full shelf in the fridge and 1-1/2 shelves in the freezer. Now for the problem with the freezer. The shelf and basket designs are horrible. The middle shelf and the two baskets below that shelf will not hold any weight. They always fall out of the plastic grooves on the inside of the freezer. The only basket that stays in place is on the bottom because it has reinforced plastic slides. So if you are upgrading your side-by-side refrigerator and don’t mind having less refrigerator and freezer space along with the freezer shelves supported by your food…go for it…otherwise stay away.

I am not at all impressed. I have owned better when purchasing a refrigerator.
Sleek and Spacious

This stainless steel piece looks great in our open concept kitchen. Lots of space and easy to use.
Love the water and ice crushed/cubed in the door.

I do like this refrigerator, but I wish the vegetable and fruit drawers were bigger.
from Naples, FL, United States
It is a very noisy refrigerator, I would not recommend it.
We installed this unit in a kitchen refurb this fall. It is a good looking piece, spacious inside, the ice/water in the door is great. The only negative point is that the top of the unit - the tops of the two doors - are arched. This was not evident on the website, or in the dimensions in the specs provided. We have cabinet doors directly above the refrigerator that will not open unless the refrigerator doors are open because the arch keeps the cabinet doors closed.
