A Wonderful stove that meets my needs.
In the musical " Chorus Line:, the dancers were rated on their looks and talents. This stove is a 6 in looks and a 10 in performance. I had an earlier model of this product for 15 years and reordered because the oven had stopped working bc of a circuit board malfunction. I really like the easy to use features of the stove panel, and the broiler feature located inside the oven. I do not like stoves that more recently have their broiler function at the bottom of the oven. I have my back and knees to protect against strains. The most surprising feature is how easy it is to pull this stove away from the back wall which allows cleaning and pest control if needed.
Perfect for those who need an economical option without the costs for extra bells and whistles. It can cook gourmet as well as the better looking high end products. Cost was well within my budget for my small house and don't forget the plumber's heavy gas valve disconnect and reconnect fees that will be reqyuied.

Fine tuned simmer feature and easy to clean.
We love this stove range. GE makes the best fine tuning stove top burner temperature regulator. We had another stove that had to be replaced due to a faulty valve that could not be lowered to a simmer. This stove is outstanding for health conscious people who need to keep meats and poultry cooking at low temperatures. The size is just right and each burner is so light and easy to pick up and clean. I highly recommend this stove. We wanted a range with an air fryer, but it was impossible to get at that time. So we decided the fine tuned temperature control was the most important factor.

Nice basic range. I love it!
A nice basic gas range. It is nearly the same as our old GE range that came with the house 18 years ago, and it was not new then. I cook and bake a lot and find this type of range extremely reliable. No fancy gadgets or electronic programs to fail on you. This new one does have more accurate temperature control than the old one.
I would say the thing they could have upgraded is the pan drawer. Much like the old one, it does not slide well and its plastic guides will most likely break like the old one.
I like the black color that blends pretty well with the black stainless of my other appliances.

Well designed.

I purchased a GE range.when I followed instructions. It went to the warming stage then it went to 350 degrees. Then I tried to up the temps, I pushed the start button, then the + button and nothing happened. How can I raise the oven temp?
When you start, hit the “bake” button, then hit the up or down button to change the temperature, then hit the start button. If you need to change the temperature in the middle of the baking process, hit the “clear/off” button and then begin the start process over again for the new temperature
