About Me Value Oriented
I bought this for my daughters room. Her window is very small so I was overjoyed finding out there was an ac that fit her window. It was very easy for dh to install. Once he turned it on it sounded like someone with a flat tire was outside her window. It is absolutely awful!! Please do not waste your money. I am extremely disappointed!!!!

We received this model last weekend NEW as a gift and installed it and right away on the coldest setting and it froze, on the regular cold it froze, on medium cold it froze..... we are returning this unit this weekend and going with the competitor since the one we have never froze!!! I'm not a happy customer if you cant tell
You get what you pay for...
This thing is so loud and obnoxious. When I turned it on my initial reaction was "It sounds like a helicopter is right outside my window!" It took 2 hours to drop 2 degrees. It's so irritating to listen to, sleeping with this unit on I would imagine is impossible. The bottom bracket where you are supposed to slide the vent sleeve in was bent so I had to bend it back for it to slide in. In all honesty, do yourself a favor if you can and spend a couple extra bucks for a better unit. Don't waste your money.
Quiet & Cold
We bought this A/C for a small spare bedroom. It was easy to install and blows nice and cold. Even better, it's quiet! Good buy and the price was very reasonable.

packs a punch!

we don't have central air, and our childrens room needed some type of air conditioning in their room over the summer. We have an older home and most large floor air conditioners would cause our breakers to go off. so this conditioner was perfect. it was low wattage to keep out outlets from blowing up. It kept the kids room very cool and honestly did not have to leave it on at all times, sometimes it'd get too cold. LOL. was easy to install in the window and take down in the fall. I also enjoyed have the buttons up top so that the kids couldn't grab and touch.

Using for bedroom. Works well but takes a while to cool the whole room. Noisy/loud. Lightweight, making installation easier.
Really minimal unit

Water pools in the unit during & after rain, causing the unit to become very noisely (fan blades hit the water).Poor temperature regulation.Louvres are not 4-way adjustable. They cannot be adjusted front-to-rear.
Works great so far

Bought this a month ago because it was the shallowest one I cound find (I have 5 1/2" from window frame to bars). It's been on pretty much 24/7 and hasn't broken. I'm in 600 sq ft and it cools the LR well and the BR (with help from a fan) down to probably 78 or 80 degrees - manageable for sleeping. For the price it's a major bargain. Haven't got an electric bill in this apt yet so I can't comment on energy efficiency.
