Rated 3 out of 5 by from Cycles Slowly According to the manual, the rate of cycle is such that there should be a tray of ice made every 1 1/2 hours or so, as long as there is room in the bucket. My freezer is as cold as I can make it without freezing items in the main fridge, so the temperature is not slowing the unit down. Apparently, there is no way to speed up the cycling rate. I live alone, and the ice maker barely keeps up with me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Freezes solid The ice maker freezes solid and does not let frozen cubes rotate out into the bin. I have removed it several times to let it thaw. It will work a couple days and then freeze up again. I have never had this much trouble with an ice maker.

In addition, every so often it sounds like a dryer machine buzzer is going off. The sounds (I think of water being released) echoes through the house. It is insanity. Bottom line, slow to make ice and ridiculously noisy. This is a terrible product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Doesn’t fit. The back of the fridge says to get an IM4D ice maker. And while the plug does indeed connect, the screw holes do not line up and there’s no way to attach the ice maker. Then I read in the owners manual “does not work with S/S models”. Does that mean side by side? If it does, why would you have the connectors and water line and brackets but yet no ability to connect anything to them?

But after about 6 months, it quit filling with water and then when it did, filled with water, wouldn't dump, and then refilled with water. I am left with frozen water in the bucket and frozen ice cubes that won't dump. This product was installed by the deliverer.

Set temp gauge on 4+, still not filling up. 5 is highest temp, and not energy efficient at that high. i did all the items on video, still not working. Green light didn't come on at all, like video indicated. Using cube trays, wish I had not bought ice maker now.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Feeler Arm Freezes in OFF position Ice builds up on the feeler arm and causes it to stay in the off position. Every day I have to take a little fork and remove the ice buildup. That is soooo not acceptable. This product should be recalled to replace the feeler arm with another design.

What size is the flexible tubing that connects to the ice maker?

Copper or SmartConnect Refrigerator Tubing kit, 1/4" outer diameter is used to connect the refrigerator to the water supply. If using copper both ends of the tubing should be cut square
