Comments about GE Stacked Washer/Electrics Dryer Combo - White:
We have had this unit for 3 days and we are certainly glad we decided to purchase it. It is sleek looking and just the right size for our family's needs. You should buy one also.

I live in a small condo where there is no space for regular washer and dryer. It fits in our tiny place well

I am very happy with my new GE washer /dryer, but I will like to know why it doesn't have water level selection:(
So far so good

Just got this installed today and have done 2 loads of laundry so far. All seems well. It is great if you have limited space for a washer and dryer to go.
LARGE CAPACITY FOR SIZE
from New Jersey, United States
I HAVE HAD THE WASHER/DRYER FOR JUST A FEW DAYS, BUT I AM QUITE PLEASED AT THE CAPACITY, THE WATER SENSOR FEATURE AND THE SPACE I AM SAVING. THERE WAS ENOUGH ROOM TO ADD SHELVING FLOOR TO CEILING ON THE OTHER HALF OF THE LAUNDRY CLOSET. THE WASHER & DRYER I HAD BEFORE THIS WAS GE AND WAS HAPPY WITH THE PERFORMANCE.
Quiet. I like the various features

Only had the stack unit for about 3 weeks but so far I really like it. It's quiet and the features are designed to be efficient with the type of wash. I trust the name brand because the GE appliances that I have had in the past have been long lasting good products.
Great Capacity in the Right Sized Unit
By Grand Pop

I installed this yesterday to replace an old whirlpool unitized set (1.5 capacity washer). The installation was straightforward (it's a 240V set up an you have to attach the electrical cord to the unit yourself). I picked this unit because it offered the largest capacity washer and dryer of the few available in this size and configuration. My only disappointment is that the self-leveling legs aren't quite leveling the unit. My floor (tile) doesn't appear, and shouldn't, be uneven. but I am quite satisfied overall - especially with the old unit 15 or better years old!
Cannot be repaired
from Siesta Key, FL, United States
I bought this washer/ dryer for my condo 2 years ago. It sounds like a freight train when it spins. Repair man came to fix it and said it needed a new transition. He tried to repair it but it is unrepairable?
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Very Quiet and Efficient
from Saint Louis, MO.
We bought this for our Condominium, and really like the small footprint. It fits in our closet off the kitchen, and is very quiet when in use.
Great small space saver
from Oceanside, NY, United States
Great machine for limited space. Has bleach and softener dispenser which other small machine do not have. Good machine for a family of up to three. More then enough for two people. Has a deep plastic basket and a metal drying drum. Has multiple wash and dry cycles.
