Comments about Haier 1.0 Cu. Ft. Portable Washer - White:
I have had this little thing for over a year and it has worked perfect. I can't tell you how much money and time I have saved using this washer vs. going to the launderymat. I live in an apt, and it is perfect, I roll it out from the closet hook it up and with in minutes I'm getting my laundry done. This is a must for anyone in a living area without a full size washing machine.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I can finally have a washing machine!
Love this washer! I have a very small one bedroom apartment and no w/o hookups. My mother-in-law gifted this exact model to me, and let me tell you, it blows my mind! For being small, it cleans so well! My husband cut his finger at work (nothing major) and had dried blood on his clothes. I used the washer with my normal laundry detergent and a little bit of stain remover, and it came out just as clean as a normal sized washer would of done! Now I just need the dryer ;)
Great washer for small apartments with no washer connections
from San Antonio, TX, USA
Purchased my washer February of 2014, absolutely happy with it. It washes my clothes really well, even in quick wash mode. I like that it has different modes such as heavy or quick wash. I use it every day sometimes twice a day. We have no washer dryer connections as our apartment complex is rather old. So this washer really helps get us into clean clothes and uniforms. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a good value and small washer.
Great Little Washing Machine
from Loveland, CO
I love this little washing maching. It is the perfect size and since I can select the water temperature, my clothes get a lot cleaner than at the laudromat. I enjoy being able to just hook it up and do my laudry whenever I want. It's just the right size for my small space.
Great machine, some issues
from Roscoe, IL 61073, USA
Purchased this machine, because it was small and portable. Needed a machine to travel with and use in "executive" apartments. For this purpose, the machine is superlative. It's light weight and easily lifted in and out of the van or a trailer. It also works, in spite of all the moving around and on the road use and abuse, which is impressive. The machine has never, in all the years, needed any repair or failed to function. Properly loaded, etc, the clothing gets clean. It's easy to use. Get an inexpensive adaptor from a local plumbing supply store. (FYI -- some hardware stores are a little useless here.) Hook it up to your kitchen, bathroom, even shower faucet. Put the drain hose in an elevated (important!) sink. Plug it into household current/ outlet. You're done! No extra wiring or plumbing necessary. No more late night trips (dangerous!) to the laundromat. Save all those quarters (very expensive). No more trips up and down the apartment stairs, then waiting for a machine to become available. Wash anytime you want to, right where you are. Really great for baby clothes, I hear. If you use the mesh bags from the store, the machine is also great for "delicates" (use your imagination.) Another big plus, no dirty machine from other users. (You do not want to know what I have found in laundromat machines.) More hygienic. Period. And if you have a baby, isn't this even more important? The "issues" I have are, first, the machine must be properly leveled. If not level, the drum will whack against the sides, make lots of noise, shake all over, not spin properly and eventually stop -- until you reload/ rebalance the load. About the third or fourth time for the same load, this gets old. The leveling is somewhat sensitive on this machine. Second "issue" was actually what I originally thought was an advantage -- and this choice may be my fault. The capacity is a little on the small side. It suffices for one queen sized sheet, or some blouses, a towel or two, underwear in general. If you need to wash a blanket, the machine might not be able to handle it, depending on size. All in all, the machine is quite good, as long as you understand it precisely from the get go. FYI -- if you're looking for a machine that is still portable, is less sensitive with the leveling, has a more useful capacity -- but still retains all the positive features of the HLP21N -- may I suggest spending a little more and getting the Haier HLP23E?

It's an incredible machine! Does a great job and is well made. Good value! Respect it's capacity, load properly and you will be loving the results! It delivers!!! I very much like this compact solid 1.0 cf washer.
perfect size, perfect price

Hi today is March 26 2015, i just found the invoice of my Haier Washer HLP 21N dated January 29 2011. Four years and still works as well as the first day. You can't do a big load, but for two adults in an apartment its a Must have. Be sure you level it well. =)

I just recently ordered this and got it in only three days! It is awesome . I used it and it is so quite and does an excellent job. I live alone so this is perfect for me instead of walking outside to the apartment to do laundry. It's small but powerful!! I can't wait til my dryer gets here..

The perfect solution to small loads!
from Nashville, TN, USA
Our apartment had a common laundry room in a different building. This small washer was perfect for us. We could do small loads and not have to pack, load and haul all the laundry supplies. It holds so much more than we originally thought. It gets my clothes really clean and makes my laundry a breeze instead of a hassle. The washer has different cycles so I can wash delicate sweaters or grungy jeans. The little washer lets me do a really small load, like a single blouse, right away without feeling like I'm wasting a lot of water or electricity. In fact, we didn't see any noticeable increase in our utilities, and after a couple of loads, I was doing all my laundry at the apartment. Even the bed sheets! When we bought our house we remodeled the master bath to include our Haier washer, even though we have a complete laundry area elsewhere in the house. I can conveniently do a small wash anytime. With my washer right here in the bath, all handy, it is easy to just wash up a few items after changing clothes. I know taking care of stains right away is best. With my washer so close and handy I do it on the same day they get spilled on. I don't forget and it gets done right away rather than waiting to get together "full load". Clean clothes: done right - done right away.
