Safe & Easy to Use Around the House and Office!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the perfect sized kettle for brewing or topping off tea to keep it steamy. The convenience of the kettle comes in clutch when the stove kettle or manual heating of water is not available or out of the way. It is safe to use in spaces like my office, basement kitchenette, and outdoor deck. I would suggest you use distilled or purified water to keep your kettle from hard water stains caused from using tap/hard water. If you don't mind the occasional hard scrub/cleaning from that, then this is the perfect and easiest electrical kettle you'll ever use!

When you press the button on the top, the lid quickly opens. Boiling water is quick. I like the cord-free serving and the automatic shut off is a nice safety feature. The window showing the amount of water is very helpful. Overall, the kettle is a good product and I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how stylish this kettle is, but most importantly, I am in awe of how fast it boils the water for my tea each morning! It has a fairly wide base, and that allows the water to boil more quickly than other narrower kettles. Ingenious! The lights are pretty. The auto-shutoff makes it so safe to use. It's easy to clean. It boiis water so fast that I now use it when I make pasta. Instead of filling a pan on the stove, and waiting for it to come to a boil (you know what they say about watched pots, right?), I use the kettle to boil the water!

We can't think of anything wrong with it. The spousal unit is super picky, a real critic. I convinced the judge to try this kettle out over more expensive versions. We are very satisfied with our purchase.

Boils Fast
It boils really fast. The minimum (.5L) boils in less than 2 minutes. The opening to fill it is a little small, which may make cleaning difficult and the plastic around the water level viewer will make it even harder to clean (see picture). The pictures of the power button in the user manual are reversed from the one I received. Fortunately they do explain that the I is for on and the O is for off.

Just got this as my other electric kettle (different brand) just stopped working. So far so good, easy to set up and use. A basic electric kettle. However, I would prefer it to heat up the water more, its more of a lukewarm temperature.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hamilton Beach Tea Kettle is your basic, everyday water kettle. It has a 1.7 liter capacity which is plenty for regular use. The water level indicator on the side is easy to see to add the right amount of water. The kettle has a single setting so you cannot adjust the water temperature based on the type of tea you’re drinking. It can only boil water at a single setting which is fine for our needs. Overall this is a simple kettle but it works really well.
