great sharp image.
I enjoy the sharp clear image. I don't realy need the built in speakers as I have my own speakers. I prefer a regular monitor stand instead of the stand it came with.

This is my first touch screen experience ever and I really love it. I bought it to go with my new HP desktop. The HP online sales rep encouraged me to purchase it and I'm grateful. Yes, it is more $, but over the life of the equipment, the cost is nothing relative to the utility. I will say that the documentation is lacking. I wished that more printed documentation would have been included with the monitor. For the price that I paid, HP really could have included better doumentation. Yet, it did set up quickly. I highly recommend the monitor to anyone.

It is larger than I had expected. It came with three connecting cables, as well as the power cord. One has the choice of connecting either the HDMI cable or the DVI cable. The only problem I had, was getting the touch feature to work. Turns out, the included USB cable has to be connected for the touch feature to work. The bezel keeps a solid adjustment. It's something like being nomadic. I'm very pleased with it!
HEAVY! Large for Screen Size
from Third Planet From The Sun
LARGE HEAVY UNIT!!! The overall size makes you think it has a large screen. The bezzle is one inch. Then there is a one in border on the screen. So total of two inches is wasted space. Gap between bezzle and screen...becomes a dust collector area. Can't tip screen forward to reduce reflections, screen does not have anti glare coating. Should have webcam built in. Only 5 point touch. Sound is not too bad. Would not buy another if I had too.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I was replacing a HP 22 inch monitor that was working just fine. I have Windows 8 and so why not have touch screen. I did look for some time before I decided on this monitor. I only gain one inch but I now have touch screen. I am a game developer and getting a clear display with good graphics is important to me. So one thing make sure you have a good video card. Don’t blame the monitor if your card is low end. I uploaded a picture from a game on this monitor. I always used a led display and not a LCD. Much to my surprise I could not see much difference. The only thing that I can say that needs improvement is the audio. My old monitor has much better sound. I did notice that the cable that came with this monitor did not have filtering on the cable. I will change cables in hope’s to improve the audio.
I love this touch screen technology

This product flickers
There is very little sense in having a Windows 8 on a computer without a touchscreen. Have the Envy 700-074 bought bundled with 23 in HP screen that works well. The addition of the touch screen moves the whole system from a good system to a fantastic for the price one.
very good product. love it very much.
