Comments about Hisense 40" Class LED 1080p HDTV with Built-In Wi-Fi and Android 4.2:
So I JUST bought this TV and I'm happy with my purchase for the most part. The feature set it comes with is awesome and running Android 4.2.2 is just the icing on the cake.I had a couple of hiccups when setting up the TV for the first time, mainly adding my Gmail account. It kept giving me an error during the sign in process (although this may be because I have 2-step authentication for this account?? I don't know...), luckily I have another Gmail account that I was able to set it up with. I also had trouble setting up the TV Source, which apparently lets you control all the TV channels and remote control functions of the TV Service Provider. I have Verizon FiOS (set-top box) so Im not sure if that system is compatible with this feature, I can't find any documentation with this information, it may be a feature just for regular Antennas. All other features work great so far ..DLNA, Screen Mirroring (Android), Air Mouse, Voice Search, etcMy only disappointment has been the picture quality. Being a 60Hz TV I know I shouldn't expect much in this department but I was hoping for a little better image. I watch a LOT of sports and I'm used to a 46inch Samsung LED and the difference in image quality is night and day.All in all I can sacrifice image quality a bit for all the other features which definitely make up for it. Like I said at the beginning of my review this TV is very well worth the money!

by far my most favorite television I've brought in the years of what buying TV. My only issue is it doesn't have a sleep timer. I think or television should have a sleep timer. Maybe they can do a system update which would include a sleep timer. That would be awesome then of this that would be absolutely perfect.

I purchased this TV only because I purchased the Playstation 4. My last Tv was a 32" LCD. I needed the change to get the PS4 at 1080p. Wow. When I saw the price I figured I take a chance. It's beyond what I expected. Picture is beautiful. Sound is solid. Great great buy

The Little known TV that Could
By Tom the Enthusiast
Bought this to replace a 32 inch 1st Generation Google TV. I wont mention the model brand as don't want to ruin my review not getting published due to naming the brand.Things that made me buy it to replace my old tv with this one is Size as it was 8 inches bigger, Price as it was cheaper then the original tv I had, as well as updated Android OS and Voice input actually works well with it. Also I am told that the lag my old tv had with video games that others had with my old model tv is not show up in this model and brand. The problems I did have were minor as the cables tend to run in to the tv from the side rather then from the back like I like but is probably great for people who want to wall mount the tv.Tv had a sticker of being made October 28th, 2013 next to the serial number and the tv is actually one of the new Hisense Vision models that was shown off at this years 2014 CES but is hard to find info on the model when I searched up on it.The problems with Missing Certain Channels and Channel Scan Problems I mentioned were the same I experienced with my old tv until they fixed the problems with some firmware updates and hopefully Hisense fixes the problem as well in the future with a firmware update. Also there is no way to add channels manually or update your over the air channels without going through the whole channel scan process from scratch. And since you can't manually add channels to the line up that I could see, you really have to work hard when you want access to channel 3 that may be needed for an old vcr or something as to get that channel you have to do a channel scan as normal and then when it reaches digital channel 68 or 69 , you need to turn on your device like your vcr to put a signal to that channel so it detects it and adds it to the line up so you'll have it available. Also there is no screensaver built in so if your using the android apps and fall asleep you'll wake up with the screen how you left it.One more thing is some podcasts played on it using a certain android app sound distorted when played but could probably be fixed with a firmware update like most of the other problems I mentioned. Also due to it being an energy saving tv there is a delay between turning it on and being able to pull up the android OS that is noticeable but probably could be fixed by an update. All in all with all my nitpicks I mentioned , I am glad I bought the tv when I did and I hope Hisense starts making more noise about this tv and starts putting out more information about it as its been pretty good so far and could be better with a few updates to fix the problems I noticed.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was great as it is the first time I bought a TV over the web as I always worry about having it arrive damaged or other bad stuff.Product arrived and was fine and before it shipped PCRichards helped me find out more information about it using a social network by sending me the manual via email when I asked for more information about it.They went above and beyond what I expected and I appreciate it.
