I love it!

Comments about Hoover Corded Cyclonic Stick Vacuum:
This is the third Hoover stick vacuum I've purchased. The other two were battery operated and although I don't like have to plug and unplug for each room, I do like the fact that I can do the whole house at one time without having to charge the batteries. I seems a bit heavier than the other two battery operated ones but that might be a good thing in that it feels more substantial and not too heavy that I can't handle it. All in all I think I love it!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Improvement over older model.

My wife has used a Hoover stick vacuum for many years and she says that this latest model is the best innovation yet. She has instantly set the old model aside and only uses the new cyclonic model.
Light weight and picks up dirt and dog hair very well!

This little sweeper is lightweight and picks up dog hair very well! It is small enough to use when a quick job needs to be done! I love the convenience of a small sweeper that gets the job done. Only thing I would change is have the switch (on/off/carpet) located up the handle in a more convenient location.

This vacuum was purchased to replace a Hoover Stick Vacuum (5 plus years old) that broke and parts were no longer available to make a repair. The old vacuum was a wonderful vacuum, plenty of suction and very easy to use. This new vacuum was light weight and easy to use but it had very little suction. When I checked the full load Amps of the unit it was only 2 amps, immediately I knew what the problem was, it was grossly underpowered. I could not believe that Hoover would sell a vacuum cleaner that was not much more then a toy! Had I known what the full load amps were I never would have ordered it! Consequently I returned the vacuum and bought another brand. I bought the Hoover vacuum online and read the reviews of other buyers who supposedly gave it good ratings, now I seriously doubt the validity of those reviews. Hoover brand products have always been quality products that gave excellent service, apparently that is no longer true!

I just used this vacuum for a couple of days but my hair gets tied up on the baffle and in the brush roll. Plus I thought the handle went all the way down which it does not and I certainly do not want to force it. I have no photo or video to add.

This is one, darn good little vacuum let me tell you. I've had it for about four years now, nothing has broken, it still picks up as good as it did new. Debris container is so easy to dump, just open lid & dump. The filter easy to clean, just run under water, squeeze out, & let air dry & it's good to go again. I just love this little machine. It gets all my basset hound's hair off the rugs & floors, that's why I bought it. I have to vacuum every day bc she sheds every day & this is so lightweight, so easy to use & it gets all the hair up & keeps everything clean, it's fun to vacuum with it. I'm so happy with it. I had a Flair before I got this one. I loved the Flair, but always had problems with it. It was a good machine, but needed improvements. I hope they do improve that machine as well, bc I loved that too. But, this vacuum never has problems & does the job for me. It doesn't have the power nozzle, but the brush really picks up. Don't know how it would do on long hair. A very good little vacuum. It could be a tad heavier, but not much more. Love it.
Used 4-5 times and now, it sounds like it is coming apart inside base head.

Just got this to use specifically in our new small travel trailer. Used only 4 -5 times. Ordered from Amazon. Now have to spend time taking it to an authorized dealer. Followed instructions and it said to check belt. I did that and it seems okay. What a disappointment, as it was rated one of the tops.

The swivel feature allows the head to leave the floor easily. I wanted to tie a cinder block to the thing. It is too lightweight. Cord is thin and feels cheap. The washable filter is an awesome idea. Too bad it picks up 1% of what my Dirt Devil bagless quick vac does. The tiny brushes on the sides supposedly for the edges are nubs and meaningless. Brand name, great technology, yes. Complete failure in execution. Get yourself a Dirt Devil!
Not as Expected

I bought this stick vacuum yesterday, I am very disappointed. I've been in need of a new stick vac for a long time. 1. The plug on the end of the cord was installed 180 degrees wrong so be careful when you plug it in to the outlet. 2. The cord will outlast this vacuum by a 100 years, guess I can cut it off & use it elsewhere. 3. The handle is longer than needed & not adjustable. 4. The cord has to be held all the time when using or it gets in the way. 5. The 2 tiny rollers under the vacuum are not in front but are half way back & this causes the vacuum to have a mind of it's own. I can see why they designed it this way, to create more suction, but the vacuum is hard to handle, I am constantly trying to make it go in the opposite direction, maybe it's because of the flexible neck part just above the floor piece, but it definitely goes where it wants to go before where I want it to go. Positioning the rollers half way back also means the suction part of unit is very close to the floor & anything bigger than a paperclip will not be picked up, will be pushed forward instead. 6. The switch is a two way switch, carpet vs. bare floors. Just keep the switch on carpet because the brush roller doesn't turn unless the carpet switch is selected, also, it cleans better with the brush roller moving. Also, this brush roller is nothing to write home about. 7. This vacuum works best on very low carpet, the carpet modifies the feeling that you are being pulled around the room. But very low carpet , nothing else higher. I bought a cordless version of this vacuum 2 years ago. It too was quite disappointing. Picks up almost nothing & the battery dies off in 2 minutes, that is why I decided to buy the unit with the cord. But this new unit needs to go back to the drawing board. As stylish as both units are, they don't perform well, period. I have an old stick vac, cheap, from years ago that works better than either one of the above. Come on Hoover, make a vacuum that works well & takes the work out of vacuuming. Hmm....maybe I put it together wrong? Naw....
