Too Much Suction!
from Los Angeles, CA, United States
Comments about Hoover WindTunnel 3 Pro Upright Vacuum:
I bought this on sale at Target. I have a low pile oriental rug 9x12 (not real) and it is the first thing one steps on when they come through the back door. I also have a German Shepherd that sheds a lot and tracks dirt into the house. I put the machine on the middle height setting. It picked up some debris but didn't really brush the rug.It didn't pick up hairs nor crumbs. I went to the lower height. I couldn't push the machine! It sucked so hard the machine wouldn't move unless I really pushed hard. It "did" pick up the hair but even my husband had trouble pushing it. Not good! I returned it to Target. Is there such a thing as too much suction? There has to be a happy medium . .doesn't there?
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

wind tunnel pro
from Haslett MI
I received the wind tunnel two weeks ago. I have always liked Hoover. It is a good product. So far it has working well. It picks up very well which is great because I have a yellow lab that sheds a lot. Also, it is very easy for me to clean it and check the filters. This is important to me because I only have the use of one hand. Ask me again to write a review in six month. Would like to tell you again about my vacuum.

Hoover replaced my former vac with this one & I am happy with the job it does
from Home in Ia.
I enjoy the fact the vac does a great job, but does't weigh a ton!!

In your older hoover vacuums there was a lifting area just above the bag. This provision has been eliminated so the only way to lift this vacuum is by the handle at the very top. This is challenging when carrying up a flight of stairs.
Excellent mobility and ease of use...

I am so very happy with this Pro model vac... It moves very smooth and sucks up everything it runs into with ease...
Awesome Vacuum not going anywhere else.

I never have owned a Hoover Vacuum cleaner, now that I have I am not going any where else. it was easy to put together, the retractable cord is excellent, everything is on the vacuum, do not need to store anything else elsewhere, easy to clean it. it does not loose suction at all. cleans the carpet and the hardwood floor I have. It is easy to use so I really like it.

Just arrived today after online ordering. Was able to put together with no difficulty at all. Purchased for the basement that was recently finished to keep from dragging upstairs vacuum down steps. So far only downside would be that it is heavier to push than others I've owned. Easy open dust canister.

BOUGHT THIS TWO USED IT TWICE AND HATE IT.

I BOUGHT THIS VACUUM TWO WEEKS AGO AND HATE IT not able to get under kitchen an bathroom cupboard. the accessories keep falling off the cleaner. no floor brush to get under furniture like the length of the cord but keep running over it. The hose is so long and heavy it keeps come off it location on the cleaner. cleaner is very heavy and even in the highest position it sinks into the carpet. My carpets are very thick.... On the tile floor the dust is not sucked into the hose and the dust can pick up everywhere where the cleaner cleaned. Don't recommend this to any women because the cleaner is very hard to handle and is very heavy.
Great Suction System....

I do not purchase anything but Hoover Vacuums....I just love Hoover Vacuums..........They are well built and durable....one lasted for 10 years... The Hoover-Wind Tunnel 3 Pro Bagless Upright is another Winner Product.......I particularly like the suction system and the power that it has.... it really vacuums deep down the fibers of the carpet. I like the cord rewind and the relative ease of filter cleaning....... The weight is a little heavy but overall it is a Great Vacuum. Lastly I got it for a Great price.

I got this vacuum when I moved into my first house, it worked great for the ~4 times I used it there, over the year I lived there. (I didn't have to vacuum often as I was gone all the time). After I moved, about the third time I used it in my new home the hose stopped working. No suction. Now my hallways look messy all of the time. I was still using it, without the hose, successfully so I didn't worry about it too much. I've used it another ~3 times since the hose broke, and have been frustrated to find that it just shuts off, overheating with hardly anything in the debris compartment. I've cleaned the filter twice in the two years I've owned it, both times it did not fix the problems listed above. There are no clogs in the hose. Very frustrated that this vacuum, which wasn't cheap, has stopped working within two years. I clean it regularly and don't use it terribly often. I feel like I could have gotten a better deal getting a used vacuum from a thrift store. I'm sure it would've lasted just as long, and cost a third of the price.
