What type should I purchase in order to charge thru electrical wall socket

I own a Jensen portable CD player which is powered by 2 AA batteries. No way to recharge batteries via a wall socket. Not sure about other portable CD players.

If I want to use this in the car, does it come with (or can I purchase) a DC power adapter?

It does not come with the power adapter. There may be a aux power input, but we do not carry a specific power cord for this unit.
