Performance, Reliability, and Longevity Issues
from Moose Jaw SK
Comments about Keurig K55 Coffee Maker:
In the past five years we have purchased 5 different Keurig coffee makers (3 K50 and 2 models which I cannot remember). Each has lasted approximately one year before they stop operating. We have followed the cleaning regimen precisely; regardless the machines stop performing. Examples of some of the issues; not brewing coffee, not heating water, very slow brewing, lights indicating add water when the tank is full, incomplete or half-brews, not responding to button commands. Why do we keep purchasing these machines? Simple answer is the convenience factor.

I was given my first Keurig as a gift over 5 years ago. Sadly it is just recently given up the ghost. I will be replacing it with another K50, an excellent machine.

this keurig is basic and super simple to use. each cup of coffee is made one at a time and it is great for a single person. it also has the water reservoir so you don't have to constantly add water. i love my keurig!

have purchased several Keurig's over the years - have been happy with them. This one however, drops way too many grinds in the cup. Not sure what is going on. I use the "use your own coffee" attachment, or the soft pods and get grinds in my drink. This morning I had to push all three sizes to get one cup. Has major dribble factor. Used large first - got about 1/3of a cup of coffee, so pushed the small one - so not to overflow cup... - finally pushed med. size to fill cup. Not a huge cup - usually the large one is fine. Will be returning it to where it was purchased. Hopefull its a one of dud and not a total reduction of quality.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
My Keurig K50
Mine was OK, but after a year and a half it seems to have had the biscuit. It just gives you 1/4 cup, or maybe if we are lucky, 1/2 cup on medium. It varies every time I use it. I have gone back to my little one cupper. I know what I am going to get. Frank
I bought this machine on line. I received it with in a week and no shipping charges! It was great and so is the coffee ☕️Love it !
