Comments about Kitchen-Aid 15" Standalone Ice Maker - Custom Panel:

I live in southern California and bought this ice maker as a way not to run out of ice during entertaining. I like the machine but the ice is way too small.....I didn't consider the size of the ice when ordering this machine but it is a big thing. since the cubes are small they melt faster them larger cubes. this machine is not a freezer but rather a place that makes and stores ice which is constantly replenishing itself. This will run all day and night. It does make lots of ice and is a little noisy. If you like small melting ice this is the machine for you.......
