Comments about KitchenAid 19.6 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Black:
I bought this over a month ago. Love the outside as much as the inside. Smaller than the one replaced, but love the features of my Kitchen Aid. Matches myKitchen Aid Stove. I am so glad I purchased this refrig. Love having thewater dispenser inside.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Have only had this for 2 weeks. I am still getting use to the fridge. The freezer section is great, the fridge is a little difficult to arrange but I am sure in time I will get use to it. The only negative, is the popping noise at times.Hopefully that will stop.

I was greatly disappointed in the poor utilization of space between and under baskets also under bottom drawer. Space is so very important and I found I had muchmore space in my 20yr old refrig as theyutilized all the available space..you need new designers. I was so looking forward to getting a new and updated refrig and am so disappointed. I am limited on kitchen space so I am restricted.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Nice design for a smaller fridge
from San Diego CA
I bought this to fit next to a wall and had to go down from a 33" to a 30" to get the door to fully open. For a smaller refrigerator it is very well organized, and I don't miss the extra inches. I can see everything in it - no more lost and forgotten items hiding in back corners. The only improvements I would make are less prominent handles (inset would be great) and more energy efficient. Note to the fridge designers: Please take into account that many people have to put the fridge next to a wall!
GOOD QUALITY FRIDGE
I LOVE MY NEW FRIDGE. MY TEENAGERS LOVE THE WATER DISPENSER INSIDE THE DOOR. I LOVE THAT IT DOESNT DRIP WATER ALLOVER MY WOOD FLOORS LIKE A DISPENSER ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE DOOR WOULD. ONE DRAWBACK IS THAT THERE IS NOT ENOUGH HEIGHT TO THE FRIDGE TO ACCOMMODATE TALL ITEMS LIKE 2 LITER SODA BOTTLES.

THE DRAWS ARE CHEAPLY MADE ,THE BOTTOMMDRAWER IS TO LONG IN WIDTH AND SHOULD BE TWO DRAWERS SO YOU DO NOT HAVE TO KEEP OPENING TWO DOORS TO ACCESS AN ITEM. CHECK OUT THE FRIDGEAIRE MODEL MUCH BETTER. SORRY I BOUGHT THIS MODEL. WOULD LIKE A REFUND !!!!!!!!!

Our old refrigator was a Kitchen-Aid, approx. 22 yrs. old. Good machine-finally gave out. This new one is adequate but has a couple of poor design features-the double doors only open 3/4 of the way making it difficult to access the interior. Also removing and replacing shelves for cleaning is doubly so. The water dispenser feature is always nice but having it inside means the door is open half the time, especially with kids. I bought this frig because it needed to fit in the available space. I noticed that 90% of refrigorators in the marketplace today are huge.
Nice refridge but not enough shelves had to relocate some to fit milk cartons and 2 liter pop bottles

Been looking for a fridge this size with these features for many years. I live in a condo so have limited space. Bought 2 months ago. Working well.

I bought this fridge last month and when i went to have the water hooked up, it leaked all over the inside of the filter unit. Apparently according to the repair guy the connection tubing it kinks quite often. I'm still waiting for the part, as it is not kept in stock. The rest of the fridge is great so far. We will still have to test the water and Ice dispensers when they are hooked up. More to follow
