      So Far So Good

      By Capitol Hill DC

Comments about KitchenAid Kitchen-Aid 21.9 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:

This was a warranty replacement for a totally bad GE Profile. This is smaller than the previous fridge but seems to hold more food and is better designed. The inerior water is nice and cold. The icemaker could be more efficient and make alittle more but work well otherwise. Very good design. Biggest drawback is the lack of light in the fridge. A few more LEDs would help, they use plain bulbs and just two o it will be much darher at home than on the showroom floor.

We totally love the ice cubes, filtered water and deli/party tray. Keeps food at a much more constant temperature than previous refrigerator.

      Love the bottom freezer

      By Rabbit

Comments about KitchenAid Kitchen-Aid 21.9 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:

I resisted buying a bottom freezer believing it would be difficult to locate and retrieve items. This freezer is very well designed with very easy visibility and accessibility. However, the vegetable bins are very small and poorly suited for a vegetarian.

      Looks great and functional

Comments about KitchenAid Kitchen-Aid 21.9 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:

I purchased this refrigerator for our new house 2 months ago, and it has been great so far. It looks great in the kitchen and is very functional as well. I really like the deli drawer for storing meats and cheeses, as well as the inside water dispenser. Initially I had a few issues with keeping it clean, but now have a cleaner that works wonders on the stainless steel.

      Best Kitchenaid Refrigerator We've Owned

      By BJay

Comments about KitchenAid Kitchen-Aid 21.9 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:

We've been using our new Kitchenaid Counter Depth refrigerator for two months now, and it's the best refrigerator we've owned. There's plenty of room in both the refrigerator and freezer. I was concerned that the freezer would be hard to get into, but it's very accessible, and the three-level storage is great. My only complaint is that the water dispenser drips every now and then, but I've found this to be a problem with most water dispensers.

      Good Product

      By Kitchen Queen

Comments about KitchenAid Kitchen-Aid 21.9 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:

I am a kitchen designer who has watched the buzz over the french door refrigerator for the last 8 years. I finally got one for my own home. Love the stainless steel and Pro-line aesthetics (handles very comfortable); love the freezer on the bottom and the ice maker with a scoop, and chilled water with filter. Am bemused that the water dispenser is on the left; you have to open both doors to get a glass of water. Am still not convinced the french door configuration is better than the standard door. But good product overall.

      Good fridge, love the look

Comments about KitchenAid Kitchen-Aid 21.9 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:

This is a beautiful fridge, definitely an upgrade for us. The look is probably what I like the most about it, we get lots of comments on how nice it looks. It is efficient and overall works great. I love the freezer and the way it has drawers/compartments so that I don't have to go digging around for something in the bottom. There are pros/cons to having the water dispenser inside; my husband loves it b/c of the aesthetics; it gives the fridge exterior a "cleaner" look. The problem is that you have to hold the door open to fill up a glass; our water dispenser is slow and has low pressure, but I think that's a problem with our house in general and not this specific appliance. I wish that you could open the fruit/veggie drawers without having to open both fridge doors, but that's a minor thing. The shelves are easy to adjust. Overall we have been very pleased.

      Savvy style & design

Comments about KitchenAid Kitchen-Aid 21.9 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:

Purchased for our kitchen renovation...I was not a fan of stainless, but so far this fridge has won me over. I love the deep door trays for gallons of milk and ice tea; the large drawer in the bottom tucks food away neatly and the scoop in the ice maker was a nice touch.

      Just one thing.....

      By SueHed

Comments about KitchenAid Kitchen-Aid 21.9 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:

Very pleased with my Kitchenaid fridge. Love the bottom freezer....love the space in the fridge and the huge drawer that holds all that stuff that just doesn't fit on a shelf. I only have one thing I am not too happy with. The lid on the wide slide out drawer is pretty flimsy...so easy to drop something on it and snap off the plastic pane which is not well anchored. Would have only taken a little effort and very little money to have made it a little more sturdy. The rest of the fridge is awesome. However, will still recommend.

      Great fridge

Comments about KitchenAid Kitchen-Aid 21.9 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:

We've had this fridge for over a year now and it has been working flawlessly. The build quality is top notch. Love the industrial looking handles on this model. It was a bit pricey, but very satisfied with this fridge. We are a family of 3 and it's just the right size. We don't like stuffing our fridge, always leaving some space around the contents so we can clearly see what's inside. Leaving space helps the LED light reach all corners of the interior. We like the freezer on the bottom as it brings the fridge compartment to eye level. The fridge compartment gets the most use so this layout makes a lot of sense - no need to crouch down. The freezer could use a little more capacity in my opinion. The freezer compartment may look big from the outside, but the ice cube maker actually takes up close to 1/4 of the space. The water dispenser is inside the fridge as opposed to outside on the door surface. It's a cleaner look that we prefer. There is a water filter hidden inside the fridge that will let you know when it needs to be replaced. The filtered water goes to the water dispenser and the ice cube maker.
