It is so quiet. Love the fans that run when you turn it on. The oven are so cool, won't mind using them when it is hot outside. Have never had a convection oven before and it is great. Our families visit often and I love cooking for them.

This is the first time to have a convection oven. It cooks very even and less time. Its good to have the bottom oven as a regular oven for times when my wife wants to cook something the way she has always done. Both oven section have good temperature control.

I bought this double oven a couple months agao, and I am extremely pleased as it has more interior room than my previous oven. It heats up to the set temperature very quickly and I love having 3 shelves in the top oven.
Not worth the money! Poor product!

I splurged and purchased this oven because I wanted the convection feature and the brand KitchenAid usually stands for excellent quality. I was sadly mistaken on both. I've had the oven for 13 months. The convection unit does not brown evenly...I still have to rotate cookie sheets mid-way during baking for even browning. Very disappointed. Now the big news...the upper unit is not working. I cleaned the oven, and after that it died. I had cleaned it 2-3 prior times and it was fine. There were fumes, but I figured it was normal. I do remember reading other review stating they heard loud popping noises. ? I didn't get the noise, just the odor and now an expensive oven that doesn't work. Of course I purchased the service plan because appliances nowadays are such poor quality that a consumer has to be protected. So you buy an expensive oven and pay 20- 25% purchase price to make sure it performs! Absurd! I had a Magic Chef double wall oven for 22 years and it worked great. I wanted something nicer that I could now afford and really wanted the convection feature since I bake a lot. KitchenAid...go back to the drawing board. Become the company you used to be, the company you built your reputation on and build products that last. So sad.

After setting the timer, when the oven reaches the temperature set, a buzzer goes off.

24" kitchenaid double convection oven

This was my house Christmas present that we installed the day before Thanksgiving. So my first use was Turkey. Which turned out wonderfully. Took me a bit to get used to convection cooking. This was my first one. And to discover that the lower heating elements were installed below the floor. lol. Things do cook quickly. I even cleaned it one time already. and that went well and did not feel hot on the outside. But did produce a vapor that lingered for a couple days. The only thing I question is the sound of the fan. At different times it will be an actual buzzing instead of just the fan running. I searched all around to see if I could tell the cause but never found it. It eventually went away. I was using the roasting setting for the first time when I heard the buzz and wondered if it was from that setting. All in all I really am pleased. It look great in my kitchen. The house is 1970s and the oven that this replaced was a double from that time. So this really perked up the looks of the kitchen. Plus this had to be the smaller 24" to fit in the space and there were few to chose from at this size. Installation was easy. Had to do a little carpentry to get things to fit but it was minimal.

Love the large number of options. Food cooks very evenly
A nice improvement over our previous ovens

I am glad we spent the extra money for this oven. The convection is great. Foods come out crispier and more evenly baked. The hidden bottom elements make it super easy to keep it clean. Love the big windows. I am surprised the windows and doors stay cool on the outside. One surprise was the new ovens vent back into the kitchen. This makes for a warmer kitchen in the winter which is great but I am not looking forward to it in the summer. The fans come on automatically but they are not noisy. About as loud as our microwave oven fan. The built in thermometer is also a great feature but we have not used it yet. Plan on using it for Christmas prime rib roast! We have only had it a month but we are really enjoying it.
