Disappointed in Kitchenaid
Comments about KitchenAid 24" Built-In Dishwasher - Black:
This is not my first Kitchenaid dishwasher. This interior design is different. The silverware self is not designed well. The knives slide all over I have to have a piece of silverware at the bottom. I removed the silverware basket to give myself more room on the bottom shelf and I still have trouble getting the dished that fitted in my old Kitchenaid in this one. I wash more loads a week than I have in the past.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Purchased this a month ago. Very pleased with the performance, the extra top rack, and especially on how quiet it is.

i bought this a month ago and am very please with the almost soundless operation! it is located in a very open floor plan and we don't have to turn the t.v. up over the noise anymore! love the looks and it cleans very well!
Expected it to be as quiet as the Bosch it replaced

Overall I am happy with the features and performance of this dishwasher, and like the pull out cutlery tray and the wine stem holders. A bit disappointed that it's not as quiet as the old BOSCH I replaced, though. Love that the dishes are basically dry even with the "dry" feature turned off.
We have owned our dishwasher for about 9 months. Works great, very quiet and cleans beautifully. No water spots
Love 3rd row and very quiet!

I shopped for a new dishwasher for months and am extremely happy with the KitchenAid. I love the top silverware row and it's so quiet, I can run it even when company is over and sitting in the kitchen. Great features, excellent cleaning & drying capabilities!

Being able to adjust the heights of the racks really helps but the biggest plus is how quiet it is.

Overall, I like the KitchenAid dishwasher. However, it does not perform as well as the salesman said it would. I was told to only scape the dishes, not rinse them before placing in the dishwasher. If I do that, the dishes do not get clean; I do have to rinse them first. The dishes do not dry very well, even set on the heated dry setting. After we removed the upper silverware tray (personal preference), the dishes seemed to dry better. But there is still a lot of water that remains on the silverware basket, sides of racks and the tops of all glasses and mugs.
Just Love My New Dishwasher!!!

Absolutely amazing! I have never seen such a quite dishwasher. It the cycles did not have lights I would not even know it was running. KitchenAid has never disappointed. You'll love it too!

I was surprised at how quiet it is when running its cycles. And to top it off it cleans super good. We upgraded to this in a new home we bought and are so glad we did.
