Broke after 9 months
from LAGUNA BEACH
This was the most I have spent on a dishwasher and it stopped running within 9 months! I have other Kitchenaid major appliances. NOT HAPPY
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Fantastic cleaning and quiet operation
By Jim L

I had to replace a 30 year old Maytag and checked the reviews on every model and make available. I chose this one because of the reviews and features . The first time I used it I had to check a couple times to see if it was working because it makes almost no noise. The cleaning and drying is also many times better than my old model , even when it was new.
Performance good after flawed control panel replaced
from Cape Coral, FL
We purchased this unit with the assurance of the seller that if there were any problems with it, either operationally or appearance-wise, they would swap it out for a new one. They did not live up to this promise when, upon installation the control panel malfunctioned and the dishwasher could not be used. Instead we had to wait a month for the independent service company sent by the store, Good Deals in Cape Coral, FL, to order, receive and install a new control panel. After using the unit, we are impressed by the cleanliness of our dishes, however, we much prefer our former dishwasher's manual controls to the finicky touch-screen controls.
Quiet and roomy!

So far I love my new dishwasher. It is so quiet I can't tell if it is running. The size is so much bigger on the inside.
Cleans well, but caused a countertop problem
By hardware guy
from Cape Cod, MA
This unit replaced a Maytag that lasted 12+ years. We really like the super quiet operation, and low water usage. Although low water usage means longer cycle times, but the end result is very clean dishes. Our only issue is that we installed this unit into our cabinet space under a Corian countertop. Unfortunately, the moist air from the dry cycle must come out near the top and has swelled the particleboard/MDF that supports the front edge of the Corian. Fortunately we were able to repair it with several coats of a poly sealer before it needed to be totally replaced. No problems for 12 prior years with the old Maytag causing swelling.
Does the job
from Houston, TX
This dishwasher was installed in the new home we purchased 6 months ago. No complaints about performance, although we usually rinse dishes first, so I don't know how it does with lots of stuck on food.My main complaint is the third rack; it's a nuisance, not a benefit. This flat rack prohibits the ability to put tall glasses (or wine glasses) in the "normal" top rack. The trays in this rack are removable, but the drawer frame still obstructs taller objects. I end up doing a lot of hand washing as it's too rough on stemware to put them in the bottom rack.
Like the panel on the front

My only disappointment with this dishwasher is that the dishes don't get dried thoroughly. My 12 yr old Kitchen aid dishwasher produced dry dishes when the cycle was finished.
