Comments about Kitchen-Aid 27" Double Electric Wall Oven - Stainless Steel:
I really enjoy using my new oven. The instructions are very easy to follow and I have had good success. I give it a very good rating. At the same time, I purchased the 5 burner induction cooktop. Not a wise purchase. I really wish I had gotten the regular 5 burner electric cooktop. Too bad now, hind sight is 20 - 20 I guess. A very costly mistake on my part. It is too sensitive, the slightest movement of the pans and the burner turns off. I would not recommend it, I wish I could do a do over.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This replaced my 16 year old double oven and I was excited at the convection feature.Unfortunately,it is LOUD. Cooks fine but the fan or whatever feature it is that blows after the oven is off is LOUD.
Very happy with my purchase.

I was really worried about learning how to cook using a convection oven. This model made it so easy for by including an option for it to automatically convert time and temp for me!
Kitchenaid 27 inch double oven review
from Dana Point, CA, United States
We bought this oven about a month ago. Over all the oven is just ok. It looks really nice. I am not sure that we would buy this model it we had to do it all over again. The oven take a long time to get to temperature and to cool off. Plus it loses temperature easily when opening the doors. The internal meat thermometer is a nice feature but it seems odd that you do not preheat the oven when using this feature. I have always been under the impression that you need to preheat before putting the item in to bake. The racks are very nice, heavy gauge, slide out easily and seem that they will hold up for a long time. The door openings are nice and wide.
Not just a "pretty face" -- this oven will exceed your expectations!

The oven outperforms my expectations. It heats beautifully and to exact temperatures very quickly. Food cooks evenly, better than any oven we've owned. The oven racks are incredibly sturdy, and roll so nicely that I never worry about heavy food tipping off the racks while removing it from the oven. It is a beautiful addition to our kitchen. Wish I would have switched to Kitchenaid years ago.
Beautiful, contemporary, functional,,,,,,,,,,,,,,NOISY

We had our previous Kitchenaid oven for 17 years, no problems. Loved it. Buying Kitchenaid to replace it as we updated all our kitchen appliances was an automatic. Simple install with no modifications needed. We love the look and functionality. Bearing roll out shelves, larger window, and interior lighting from both sides are terrific improvements. Improved display and controls also. Our ONLY complaint is the noisy exhaust fan! It turns on during cooking and stays on for a lengthy time after the oven is turned off. Our work around is to open the oven door and allow the oven to cool more rapidly. Awful! Our old oven didn't have this
