Comments about KitchenAid 27" Single Electric Wall Oven - Stainless Steel:
Had this not happened five days prior to Thanksgiving, I would still be upset. Service tech came 3 separate times to repair oven, each time saying he had to go buy additional parts. Oven was installed October 8 2013. It "broke" on November 23 2013. Oven was finally fixed on December 3 2013. The oven it replaced was a Dacor, which was one of the original surviving appliances that I'd been using since the house was built in1985. It was still working fine- just wanted a newer look. How I miss that oven!
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have only had this for about 6 weeks. I do find that it takes a longer period of time to reach temperature compared to my old double oven. It will be truly tested when I have 16 people for Christmas dinner. Also, I am still working out the digital features but sure I will be able to figure out. A cookbook would have been a nice added feature spelling out the conversion from regular to convection.

These ovens are very good in terms of operation and outstanding in terms of function and appearance.

After 30 years, our old Chambers dual oven gave up the ghost. We looked extensively for a replacement (Consumer Reports, on-line reviews, vendor web sites, and visits to local appliance dealer showrooms) and finally settled on the KitchenAid double oven in a black exterior as the best balance between cost, function, looks, and past product reliability experience. Since installing our ovens a month and a half ago, we have been very pleased with the results for baking/roasting breads, casseroles, meats, vegetables, etc. The ovens are also lovely to look at from a visual design perspective. The controls, indicators, timing functions, and visibility of the oven interiors during operation are excellent. Our only complaint is the relatively loud sound from the cooling fans during operation and lasting about 15 minutes after cooking is done. This noise can be off-putting if you eat adjacent to the kitchen cooking area.
It is easy to use and good looking!!

I like this product very much. I have not had it very long but am pleased. may I suggest that you have separate timers for each oven.
Large ovens and good features

The double ovens are large enough for the large pizza stones and they are the 30" models. The baking is even and accurate. Very nice ovens. I replaced a white kitchen Aid double oven with stainless. A neighbor wanted the white one when I switched to stainless. This double oven is great.
I love the upper convection oven! It cooks so quickly and evenly! I am finally not burning my foods!

Easy to use and seems to keep dishes more moist and cooks more evenly.
Purchased this product to replace older Kitchenaid double oven. Very easy to use. When lights are on, it's easy to see what's in the oven.

I have had my oven 7 months and love it so far. Cleans up nicely, the flat inside oven door is so much easier to clean than old style. I bought the double oven and didn't realize how much I would use both at one time, I don't have to wait for main dish to be done to start the rolls.
Nice looking but needs to be seen but not heard

i love the look of the oven and the interior color is really pretty and surprising when you open it. My only complaint is that is makes a lot of noise when on and continues to make noise while cooling for a really long time.
Attractive design. Efficient operations.
Takes a little time to adapt to features, but upon achieving familiarity a very efficient oven. A bit noisy with the fan operations, but the end result is a cooler kitchen area which is certainly a benefit.
