      Too loud and slow.

Comments about Kitchen-Aid 29.75" Single Electric Wall Oven - Stainless Steel:

We bought this oven 1 week ago, already unhappy with it. It takes 15-17 minutes to heat up to 425. The fan runs during and after cooking is done. I thought all ovens would be the same except for features like size, color, and convection choices. When looking at them on showroom floor it's not like I would (or could) turn it on to hear if it's loud. It doesn't seem to cook evenly either, apparently the oven doesn't turn off when timer goes off, it gives the time on oven so you can come back and check. The things I took for granted didn't come with this oven, so I wouldn't recommend this as a great oven.

      Fan Noise/Vibration is so LOUD!!!

Comments about Kitchen-Aid 29.75" Single Electric Wall Oven - Stainless Steel:

Put in all new KitchenAid appliances when remodeling kitchen...this oven is pretty, BUT that is all thus far. We have had 4 repair visits so far for the fan vibration noise. On the 4th visit...Stephen the repairman was able to find out that there is a repair kit for the fan to extend the shaft in order to get more space between it and the oven wall....on order & waiting for install...this will hopefully keep the fan that runs continuously from vibrating the oven wall that then causes the metal fan air cover to also vibrate....the noise is horrible!!!! This better fix it or I am going to proceed with declaring this Oven a LEMON!!!

More features than our previous kitchenaid model.

We wanted to replace our white kitchenaid built-in oven(seven years old) with a stainless steel model. The existing opening fit the new model perfectly and this new model has better features. Too bad that the oven racks are not porcelain coated.

      Lovin' my Oven

Comments about Kitchen-Aid 29.75" Single Electric Wall Oven - Stainless Steel:

I've had my oven for a couple of months now, and I'm really enjoying it. I love the convection conversion feature. It makes it very easy to use convection, which was a confusing idea to me but with the automatic conversion that the screen walks you through, it's no problem. The oven is a little noisier that what I'm used to, since it has a fan inside to distribute the heat. It's no big deal unless you want a totally quiet oven. It doesn't bother me. It does continue to run for about 20 minutes after the oven is off, as it cools down. Overall it is an attractive oven and seems to be working just great so far. I did buy the extended warranty on the oven, just for a little extra peace of mind, since I'd read some reviewers had problems. But mine has been great so far.

      A kitchen game changer!

Comments about Kitchen-Aid 29.75" Single Electric Wall Oven - Stainless Steel:

I recently replaced an 8 year old built in oven with the Kitchenaid Architect series II. The oven is now a centerpiece in our kitchen from a visual perspective and for meal preparation ease. The oven simply looks great and the sleek stainless appearance compliments our kitchen wonderfully. On the performance side, I cant say enough about how quickly and evenly it cooks. Meal preparation time has been cut in half in many instances and our food retains way more moisture and flavor. I will never go back to non convection cooking. The oven also has an amazing feature that has made cooking with convection very simple for me. It translates regular cooking time into convection cooking so that you do not have to worry about over cooking as you learn the new faster durations. I give this oven a 10/10 and look forward to many years of great cooking ahead!

Get used to it first....then set it and forget it

Okay there is a learning curve switching over from normal backing to convection awesomeness. I have cooked a brisket, roast, ribs, bread...and the side dishes in this oven and it has been great. Done a few over night slow convection bake at 200...controls the temperature so tight it is great, and holds the smell in. We do have their nice range hood over it, but only have to turn that on high when i open the door to pull everything out, but otherwise stays on low. Shelves are great, panel is easy to use. Integrated meat thermometer is a breeze, cooked a pork loin for momma's day, came out perfect.

Needed to be replaced the first day

Comments about Kitchen-Aid 29.75" Single Electric Wall Oven - Stainless Steel:

The first day that the oven was installed, the fan mechanism needed to be replaced. Instead of replacing the entire oven, I waited 2 weeks for the repair company to tighten the bolts only for the fan mechanism for it to break the next day. I've been waiting a month for the fan to be replaced. Very disappointed in this product and I still don't have a working oven.
