Jeana and Nick's stove
I love the look of the oven. I haven't been real happy with the speed of things heating up on the cooktop. Seems really slow. Also, same with preheating the oven. Seems to take longer than my old stove. Otherwise I really like the oven.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Great stove, love the two ovens.

I bought this about a month ago and love it more everyday.
We've had this for two years - love it!

Love the glass control panel: much more durable than the plastic of most other brands. The upper oven heats up super fast.

Far too gadgety. Looks cool on the show room floor but is not functional. For example, one burner has three elements on one dial. This creates a very small span of adjustment so essentially the element is either on or off without much adjustment in between. The other large element has a two function dial with one side for moderately low to ultra high and the other side ultra low to high......what? How about ultra low to ultra high. You will drive yourself nuts trying to figure out the difference and make simple temperature adjustments. With all this, they fail to provide a key pad that allows quick adjustment to oven temperature........you have reenter the temperature each time you want to increase or decrease. It makes for a complicated process for cooking a simple meal. If you are jet fighter pilot you might get a kick out of it.

I have had contact with the Whirlpool Corporation expressing my displeasure the a newly purchased KitchenAid electric range model #KERS505XSS. I wish that there would or could be some good things to be said, but with this model not so. The range top along with the control knobs are extremely difficult to work with. The heading element used most often block the use of the other heating elements. Adjusting the heat on the smallest burner is almost impossible. Even the ovens take considerable time to get to a baking temperature. Other KichenAid models may be great, however model KERS505XSS is a disaster. Gary
Great Features that help to Save Time

We moved to a house that did not have appliances and purchased this KitchenAid Freestanding Double Oven Range. I did not think that I would need a double oven since there are only two of us in the household, but have grown to LOVE the range (as well as the other appliances) since it saved so much time, is easy to use and it is beautiful and makes my kitchen "pop".

I love having the double oven. I have already used several times. Overall I love the range the only thing I would change is the solid black ceramic top. I had a Maytag before and the top was speckled and didn't show smears, streaks, etc. as much.
Very nice stove
This stove is very nice and has great features. For the two of us we seldom use the large oven by using the small one, which saves energy.
Double Oven is a great feature.

I've had my stove for about 3 months and I am very please with it. I especially like the double stove. I use the top oven more often for baking and smaller meals and everything cooks evenly with no problems. The glass top does show spots after cooking but with a little glass stove top cleaner it shines up beautifully. The stove heats up a lot quicker then my other stove which saves time. I would definitely recommend the stove and it looks great.
