Comments about KitchenAid 29.937" Free Standing Electric Range - White:
I bought this oven approximately 4 months ago. Made my Christmas cookies, didn't burn a one. Was very happy with how evenly everything cooks. I am a little disappointed with the stove top. I believe after just a click of uses, there are little scratches. You must clean the stove top after every use, as well. I do like the low heat cleaning feature. I have not yet used this feature but I believe it will be great.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Feature not available

If you read many of these positive reviews they still have problems. Mine, a Christmas gift which I loved, is fine for a cooktop but unreliable as an oven. It will often just shut itself off, sometimes it will say Feature not available for any setting but broil. Flipping the circuit breaker works sometimes but one shouldn't have to do that. There are many, many complaints online about ovens with the AquaLift and one would think that Kitchenaid would have addressed them by now. We bought a Kitchenaid as it is a reputable brand.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

This range worked fine for the first couple years. What you don't realize is that the rear top stainless steel panel, that part behind the burner knobs, has a thin film applied with the burner settings printed on the film. After several years of use the film will flake off - and you'll no longer know which way to turn the knob for "Dual" or "Single" settings. Kitchenaid doesn't sell replacement film - you've got to buy the entire steel panel for $186 - plus installation.

Purchased in Nov 2013. Love the induction cooktop but recently the large burner starts, then beeps and shuts off "no pan" message! Oven shuts off for no reason but can be reset by switching off main breaker. Warranty replaced the clock twice thinking that was the problem. Still happens! Aqualift technology means you have to scrub by hand-hate it. Liked my old self-cleaning oven. Can't trust the oven to stay on, quits without warning-takes a long time to heat! Don't buy this without extended warranty or perhaps I should say, DON'T BUY THIS!

I'm not satisfied with how this oven cooks. the convection oven cooks unevenly and the slide-out rack has no back on it so when you slide it out the pans fall down the back. this means not only do I lose what I'm cooking but I have to clean the oven. plus I didn't realize that when you cook on the top the surface gets so burning hot and stays that way for so long. I'm nervous especially when my grandkids are here

Very happy with this product.
Not designed by a cook
I had a convection oven for years which I loved. This one needs some fine tuning. The timer is one ding - my old one kept getting louder and longer until I heard it. The timer is confusing to set and I keep having to turn off the oven and start again. Everything burns. Upper oven is either too close to the coils or the bottom burns. Over all, it works but not well.
