I love my new KitchenAid cooktop!
By The Texas Rose

Comments about KitchenAid 30.0625" Downdraft:
I am really enjoying my new KitchenAid downdraft cooktop. I am amazed at how fast the elements heat up - way better than the previous appliance from another manufacturer. I also like the very efficient way the exhaust fan works. Again, must better than our previous cooktop. And we love the fact that we have two dual-size heating surfaces that we can use both a large or smaller pot/pan on.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love this stove top. I had a jennair down draft and it was 20 years old. I didn't like the fan but this stove top has 3 speeds. It cooks very well. What a treat.

Bought this cooktop to replace a older model to add some "pizzaz" to a kitchen in a condo in Santa Fe that I had for sale. This attractive stovetop with venting helped in a quick sale. The buyer loved it.

Bought several months ago and overall it is a very good unit. We got a crack in the corner shortly after purchase, but it continues to work, The burners do transfer heat to the other areas, we were told it would be hot only at the burner, not all around it. We got this type of cooktop as it was replacing the one in the house we bought.
I replaced an older modular Kitchenaid cooktop with this one. It easily handles larger pots and skillets better than my old cooktop, plus it heats faster and has a stronger blower. So far, nothing but praise for this one.

I really hate this product. It never worked right from the day one. If you don't set at the right temp right away don't bother adjusting it. If you go lower it stops cooking. If you got higher it will just burn everything. I am looking to replace it after less than 2 years in service. It is a horrible product. Stay away if you can.

I bought this cooktop about two months ago and I am pleased with the temperature settings. This appliance cooks evenly and has superior settings to adjust to simmering for slow cooking.

I have always wanted a cooktop and this one fits my design plan for my new kitchen. Love the sleekness and the downdraft is surprisingly very quiet!! Easy to clean; knobs come off for easier cleaning too! Love it.
New to me - glass top cooktop
By Corinne the Cook

This glass top cooktop is very new to me and takes me awhile to get used to using it after using the old coil type. I really like it. The Hi, Med and Lo printing is difficult to read and some knobs have the Hi at the top and the other two have the Hi at the bottom, so it takes awhile to get used to it.
