Comments about Kitchen-Aid 30.25" Electric Cooktop - Black with Stainless Steel:

I love the look of this cooktop and from a practical sense, I really like having the large size burner in front. I make a lot of stir fry so it is much easier having a front burner. The "no knobs" make it easy to clean.

      Great Looks, Great performance

Comments about Kitchen-Aid 30.25" Electric Cooktop - Black with Stainless Steel:

I have cooked on a glass cooktop for about 10 years. Just remodeled my kitchen and many people tried to talk me into getting a gas range. I almost did and then realized how much I loved the flat glass top cooking. It gives you extra counter space, it's easy to clean (no heavy grills to lift off!), the burner options for size of pan is wonderful. I can't find anything I don't like about this product. It heats up fast, cooks evenly, cools down fast, so easy to keep clean. Just make sure you use the right cleaning product and spongy thing and buff to nice shiny finish.

Replaced a Whirlpool cooktop when I was remodeling my kitchen in January. My old one was fine but I was looking for one with no knobs. This one is a dream! Adjusts to every size pan. You can start something to boil and put it on simmer and not worry about it. All burners have the simmer and keep warm option. The burners I use most are the adjustable ones. The top is so much easier too keep clean and I like the small pattern in the glass.

The unit has exceeding our expectations. Particularly surprised at how quickly the units heat up. It would be nice if after a unit is turned off if the hot indicator was on the actual unit instead of on the control area.

Comments about Kitchen-Aid 30.25" Electric Cooktop - Black with Stainless Steel:

This is our second ceramic Kitchen Aid cooktop. The first one was purchased in 1993 along with a diswasher and never had any issues. When we remodeled the kitchen we chose all Kitchen Aid products due to the durability, features and the quality of the products. We are proud owners of a cooktop, dishwasher, microwave/oven and did not even consider any other brands. If you are wondering what happened to the 1993 cooktop and dishwasher, they are still working and with another family that couldn't believe their good fortune to receive these 2 items.

I replaced a 40 yr old Corning cooktop with this cooktop. What a difference!! Heats up much faster and keeps constant temp.

Comments about Kitchen-Aid 30.25" Electric Cooktop - Black with Stainless Steel:

Cooktop is completely flat and the controls are all finger touch, making it easy to clean. And the glass top cleans up very nicely without the need (usually) of special cleaners. The heat rises quickly and is controlled by turning the element on and off below the glass top. Going from boil to simmer needs to be watched as the heat does not reduce as fast as is required to stop the boiling and bring the pot to simmer. You may need to go straight to OFF rather than stopping at simmer. The design is very versatile allowing many size pots to be used at once due to the zone heat controlling one of the elements to control three pot size and another to control two pot sizes.
