Comments about KitchenAid Kitchen-Aid 30.25" Gas Cooktop - Stainless Steel:
We just got the appliances installed for our kitchen 'expansion' project. I replaced a 27 yr old elec cook-top w/ the KA Gas cooktop. Looks great, functions great - loving getting back to gas for my cooktop
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love this stove top

Kitchen aid appliances came with our new home, I couldn't be happier. The stovetop has five burners which are great when cooking several dishes at the same time. Easy on, easy to clean.

wasn't sure how a downdraft gas cooktop would work, but it seems to have been well engineered, and I would recommend this product to anyone. Burners really turn down low for simmering

Stove looks good but does not stand up to its price or brand name.1. Instruction manual sucks, I don't know how else to put. 2. Warranty- Converting from Natural Gas to LP or vice versa does is not covered. So if one of the orifice is stuck and you can't pry it open good luck. Company doesn't care. There standard response is that's why we ask you to hire professional for installation. Common!!!3. Burners: I am telling after cooking few times you can see spots on black burners, answers from support that's how it is, they can't do anythingBut if you are looking for ambiance, good stove but practical purpose not sure…This was our first gas stove so maybe other brands are similar but I was very disappointed sp. after spending big money. I was hoping being Kitchen Aid I am going to get best product and best customer service but not the case.

I remodeled my kitchen last month and I wanted a open concept kitchen. I purchased the Architect Series II by KitchenAid and I love it. It looks great in my breakfast bar and the build in downdraft is great and eliminated the need for an exhaust fan.

I bought this Cooktop when we did our kitchen remodel because I only had 30" to work with, yet the burners were placed far apart -- maximizing the space. I absolutely LOVE it!

This gas cooktop was in our new home and we love it. I grew up with a gas stove so it is my favorite. Love that the burners are sealed and nothing can drip down below. Haven't figured out how to get the nobs off yet but otherwise, it cleans up great!
Nice Cooktop...not so great support for install

I am replacing my Viking cooktop and really like the look of this Kitchenaid and the additional 5th burner. I thought I would do the LP conversion and install myself. Would have been fine except the kit had conflicting information about the nozzles to use and did not even include the size nozzle they suggest. When I called they could only tell me to follow the directions. Even the seller could not figure out what to do. I experimented and found a solution after the supplier gave me the correct nozzle. After using the cooktop a month we are happy with it. Center burner goes like gangbusters...the others don't seem as strong as the Viking but has not been a problem. Easy clean up and looks great in our kitchen. For this price point a good option.

I replaced an electric cooktop with this gas cooktop 2 months ago. I like that it has 5 burners in the 30-inch size. It is very attractive and hasn't been hard for me to clean. However, I have had trouble from the beginning getting the outer burner on the dual tier ultra burner to light. Sometimes it lights and sometimes it doesn't. I called for instructions and did what I was told to do...still the same result. A repair man was sent out and the same thing happened with him. As a result I haven't used it or even tried to light it for a couple of weeks. When I finally tried to light it, the same thing happened. I haven't seen this as being a problem in other reviews so I think that it is a problem with mine. I will be contacting Kitchenaid about it again.
