looks great, but has a few issues
Comments about Kitchen-Aid 30" Free Standing Gas Range - Stainless Steel:
I have been using it for about 6 months now. I works well and I really like the look, but the burners don't light very well (I have had gas ranges that light much better), and I did have to get a repair already because a wire was kinked behind the stove in the panels. It was a factory issue I was told. Bakes good.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

We replaced a 37 year old Roper with this stove. While I do miss the larger top of the Roper ( it was the last of the 36" stoves) this is a pleasure to use. It accommodates larger pans easily.
It is very good.

It is good to have the product and it is easy to use. The only difficult for me is all the words on the panel are kind of small.
Knobs get too hot.

When you use the oven it seems like a lot of hot air comes out and it heats up the knobs on the stove and any pots that you have sitting there and you can get burned easily.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Had to be Replaced after 2nd Use

I bought this stove mainly because of its features and the KichenAid brand. What a disappointment! Upon using the oven a second time while baking a vegetable lasagna the control panel went out. After contacting Whirlpool, they sent out a technician and he unplugged the stove and rebooted it and it came back on. He said he would replace the control panel. However, my husband the cook told them to replace it and they did without any debate. I wish I would have looked here first because I would have changed the entire model altogether after hearing similar complaints. New one installed today, we'll see.
Love and the features

Right now I am waiting to have my gas range looked at as I just used it for the first time in 6 -7 weeks and the convection oven does not work. Maybe I should be doing the review after that time. I only started using my range this past week-end because just 2 days after delivery I fell and fractured my wrist so was out of circulation for 6 weeks. Looking forwared to the holiday baking with my new KA range.

I always had GE stoves but decided to go for the Kitchenaid due to the great reviews, great deal and design. It took a little getting used to (the ignition) but I am very happy with the stove's performance and will recommend it and other Kitchenaid products.
Bakes great but have had several problems w/ it. Only have it 2 months

I purchased this unit 2 months ago and already have service man out twice. Oven and control panel shut off. Also black cooktop surface is very hard to keep clean always looks dirty. Oven bakes great when it works. Top burners are very powerful. Can only simmer on one burner.
