Comments about KitchenAid 30" Slide-In Electric Range - White on White:
I am enjoying the range! It has lots of features and like the option to use convection or regular bake. I like the idea of the warming drawer, but it doesn't really keep the food as warm as I think it should. The digital controls are very sensitive so if I am reaching over the stove top it is really easy to push buttons. The range functions great and bakes very evenly.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Great looks and functionality.

Bought this stove to replace a Kitchenaid Superba ceran top. We love the looks of the stove and the functionality but like other reviewers be fan is a little bothersome and could have been designed better.
Very Happy Owner

We had our kitchen updated and purchased this stove because the controls are positioned in the front. I've used both the traditional and convection oven options since it was installed and love them. The warming drawer is a nice feature and will come in handy when entertaining. We strongly recommend this brand oven to anyone looking at purchasing one.
Disappointed with NOISY KA
from Milwaukee, WI
Purchased KESS907SSS Range, KFIS29PBMS Refrig, and KDTE334DSS dishwasher for high end, new construction. Review is based off of 2 years of ownership. Easy one first:Dishwasher - quiet, cleans well, stylish, control pad on top edge subject to inadvertent contact. This product was only reason for 2 starsRange - Had similar free standing at old house that performed well but this slide in model is different. Good features, warm up time for oven is too slow, cook top is slower than lower cost models, fan noise any time oven is on is terrible. Need to play with oven rack positions or food will burn. Two of the 4 control knobs are loose - no friction holding them to shaft. Afraid to self clean based on other reviews.Refrig - designed cabinets and granite around really good looking (inside and out) refrig. This thing is noisy... Runs almost non-stop with this piercing high pitched whine most of the time. Someone told me that Whirlpool, the manufacturer of this and several other brands had to put a sound byte on their web page to illustrate normal noises....I am concerned my appliances will fail as other reviewers described...So if you like high risk, noisy appliances (except for washer), buy Whirlpool aka Kitchen Aide.

Works wonderfully , one draw back is the front panel overheats after cooking when oven is off.I`m told this is normal hmmmm.

I've lived with this range since 2013 and am disliking it more every day. The front knobs are a horrible pain and wish that I had not bought this style. The kitchen designer talked me into it, though I questioned the hassle of front knobs. She was right about everything else with our new kitchen except wrong about this range. Two MAJOR flaws: 1) there is a 2" gap in the back so you have to get a special countertop piece made to seal that opening, really really dumb. 2) we hit the front knobs all the time and have turned them on the wrong way, so we live in fear that they will accidentally be left on and cause a fire, as careful as we are. I truly detest these range and am going to have to figure out how to sell it, so I can buy a different one without front knobs. Whoever designed it was clueless.
Takes a long time to preheat oven
from Cupertino, CA
I bought this model because i have s narrow kitchen counter and kitchen and needed a range that doesn't protrude out. Newer models have 2-3 inches more depth and didn't work for me. Cooking top is ok, no complaints, hence the 3 stars. But the oven takes 20 min to preheat, that's 4 times longer than the whirlpool I had before this, very frustrated by that. Won't recommend kitchenaid, seems like their product design team doesn't get it.
