I love my stove
from Frankfort, IN, United States
Comments about KitchenAid 30" Slide-In Gas Range - Stainless Steel:
I bought this stove 1 week prior to Thanksgiving, 2014. For the first time ever, I had a turkey breast cook to perfection. I programmed the internal meat temperature, entered the oven temp, plugged the probe in and it automatically shut off at that temperature. This has very simplified controls and I like them to the front of the stove so grease does not collect, the control panel is also glass covered and not plastic. My prior stove was 17 years old and I made myself crazy researching stoves. I really liked the look and the layout of the Samsung, but was warned by my service tech that they would not work on it due to the difficulty. This was confirmed by other technicians. I was skeptical of the burner layout because I was use to the hot burner being at the right front as that's my work space. I have found out that I do like it and I was cooking food to fast and hot. I spent a lot of time cleaning the cooktop on the old range, but with the grate style and me not torching my food it makes less of a mess. I don't have any problems with where the controls are located and hitting accidentally, I do however keep a small flashlight handy (I do this with reading anything) so that I can see what I am doing without bending over. My range front doesn't get direct light on it. Yes, it makes noises that I am not used to, but who cares, they don't interfere with anything other than to let me know the stove is doing something. Some people like to pick everything apart and these are the reviews that made me crazy. Overall I would highly recommend this range for the average person who cooks. I enjoy using it over my older GE profile. If at all possible stick with the mom/pop dealers who are able to answer your questions and steer you in the right direction, I was thankful for this. This range is also available with the curved handle style that I like, which I wouldn't have known about other than the knowledgeable small dealer.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I love my gas stove! It looks great in my kitchen. The elements heat food quickly. The oven options are easy to use. I would definitely recommend this stove.
Love the convection baking

Bought the oven a year ago pre-Xmas when our 8 year-old Kitchenaid started to have serious issues. It wasn't our plan to buy Kitchenaid but the features for the money seemed reasonable and we were quite happy with our other Kitchenaid appliances. We likely bake every other week and the convection cycle leaves everything evenly done. Hopefully this oven gives us years of good service.

Replaced an old Amana (won't buy Amana again) first with Frigidaire. Returned the Frigidaire because the build quality was such that the bottom drawer wouldn't open & close squarely so it hit our custom cabinets. This Kitchenaid is a little more expensive but well worth it. Solid build quality and the frame around the entire stove/drawer fits perfectly in our custom space. Everything seems more solid. Cooking is excellent. It looks great also.

Pro Line is much better than the Architect Series.

I just replaced my Kitchenaid Architect Series with this Pro Line Series. This one is much improved, with a much higher build quality. Everything works better.

Very nice quality feel. Appearance is great with nice clean lines. The double burner cooks very well with a lot of heat. Only negative is that the other burners seem to take a long time to heat and cook foods.

only complaint is that takes a while to boil a kettle. i think it has to do with how far the pots sit above the flame on the grates...
Bought three months ago. Great upscale look, downfall popping clicking noise when oven is on . It is feature of this gas oven. Need to redesign grates, they are to heavy .
easy to clean
