Stopped working in 3 years.

Comments about Kitchen-Aid KitchenAid 24" Built-In Dishwasher - Stainless Steel:
I spent top dollars to get this dish washer 3 years ago. It stopped working ( no lights) one day. I thought most probably Fuse is gone. I do not mind changing it on my own.I can't find any manual or even model on kitchen website to locate the fuse.Model KUDs30FXSS5.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have replaced ALL of my kitchen appliances from Samsung to Kitchen Aid. The best decision I have made. This dishwasher is so quiet I need to double check just to see if it's on. And the third rack is the answer for all of your flat tools.

This machine is 21 months old and we are replacing it tonight. Cheapest internal parts I have ever seen and the top rack cleaning is non existent. Will never buy another Kitchen Aid appliance again.

I purchased this dishwasher when I was remodeling my kitchen. I love the 3rd rack for utensils. I also like it remembers the last setting you used for washing! The dishwasher is so quite! I do not have to set the delay setting and wait until I go to bed.

Pump has been replaced twice. And now, only two years in, heater, thermoster and another line need replaced. It's ridiculous. We've always had KitchenAid appliances. Beyond disappointed with quality and customer service.

Great, sleek design, inside and out. Convenient racks and spikes for all kind of dishes. Works quiet. Loving it so far.

I am in love with my new dishwasher. It cleans dishes far better than any dishwasher I have ever owned and is soooo quiet. I was lucky to get the last of last year's model in the store. I love the way the handle looks, but am not a big fan of the handle on the new model.
Need more room to accommodate taller utensils on third rack.

We bought this KitchenAid Stainless Steel Dishwasher along with the rest of an entire suite of KitchenAid appliances. The Dishwasher looks great, cleans great and is SO quiet. The only thing I wish it had is more room to accommodate taller utensils on the third rack. Anything you put on the third rack has to be very shallow or it won't fit. Don't know if it's possible to re-design to allow more room without taking away needed height for items placed on the rack right below it though. Overall, it's an excellent dishwasher.

This review is for model #KDFE204EBL so there is no confusion.Nobody likes shopping for appliances. Even customer reviews can be misleading. I always spend lots of time reading what others thought before I make a decision. I had originally purchased a Kenmore dishwasher because that was always a name I could trust. NOT ANYMORE! It was the worst appliance I ever bought, and it was not cheap. I returned it after using it for 2 weeks because it was so bad. No more Kenmore appliances for me...EVER!!!!Then I purchased this KitchenAid Dishwasher. Right from the first load I was so impressed. The cycle lights on the front told me it was running but I had to bend down next to it to make sure. When the load was done, I was skeptical, but pleased to find that it did an outstanding job. But that was just the first load. Would I continue to be impressed? Absolutely. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this machine. It holds a good amount of dishes. I love the top rack above for knives and other large spoons and such. The racks pull out so smoothly. The rack above the bottom one is adjustable, which is super handy. I haven't used all of the different cycle selections yet because the "normal" one is perfect for every day use. I installed it myself. If you have basic handyman skills you can do it yourself and save a lot of money from having to pay someone to install it. If someone mentions in their review that there is water sitting on top of a glass after the cycle. well guess what? Every dishwasher does that! Even one that costs $2500.If you are undecided about which dishwasher to buy, I would recommend this one to anyone. I don't normally review purchases, but this one was worth taking the time to review. You won't be sorry you spent the money on this dishwasher.
