Comments about KitchenAid 18.67 Cu. Ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator - White:
I like the refrigerator on Top, easy to see and find everything. I also would like a freezer on Top but haven't figured out the two appliances, yet. Maybe cabinets below that I never have to use. Would that be a perfect world.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Very happy with my purchase. Still getting used to how things are arranged, but will probably get used to it. Freezer drawer doesn't seem to hold as much as I thought, but like the slide out lower tray.
Best purchase i have ever made

as being old (84) I had trouble bending down in my old fridge with freezer on top. This is so easy to just open the door and there everything is stored where I can see the items comfortably. it is so quiet, I hardly know that it's there. I had a ice maker installed and it works great, also. buy it! you will love it!
Too Early to Tell if it is the right value

Purchased in April 2015. We had issues right away with frost buildup due to ice forming on the rails and therefore not letting the freezer door close all the way. We had to call a third party service repair (doesn't any appliance seller cover their own products?) They replaced the seal around the door. The drawers for the fruits and veggies seem very flimsy, a lot less sturdy than the may tag we had before. We are waiting to see if it continues to run properly.

I have always heard good things about kitchenAid but never owned anything by KitchenAid. Thought this time I would try a new refrigerator. Hopefully it will be economical but the drawers are awful. The are made of flimsy plastic and they do not open or close well at all. I am so disappointed thinking that if the refrigerator would last 20 years like my last one that I will have to struggle with the drawers everytime. I wish you could replace them with some sturdy drawers. the refrigerator I got rid of had great drawers. if they would have fit this one. I would have kept them. sorry for the not so nice review but I am more than a little disappointed. I am 66 years old and handicapped and this may be my last refrigerator and was hoping that I would enjoy it
A great basic fridge that does the job!

I have owned this fridge for 2 months now and am very happy with its performance and features. I had trouble finding another fridge like the old Amana I had to leave behind when I sold my house. This one is very similar and I was happy to find it from a good company like KitchenAid. Don't like/need all the bells and whistles. This is a good basic fridge that does the job and is well made.

I bought this refrigerator a couple of months ago. My kitchen couldn't accomodate a larger one but this one is perfect. I especially like the third drawer in the refrigerator. So handy! And the freezer on the bottom is such a great idea.

I purchased this refrigerator in December. It is a nice unit. Since I was constrained by height, I had to downsize from my previous Amana refrigerator and am still getting used to less space. Having the freezer on the bottom makes the fresh food section much more accessible.
Great freezer section. Poor storage in refrigerator section.

We bought this refrigerator a few months ago for its design and characteristics but are seriously disappointed with the upper section as we find ourselves constantly reorganizing it to be able to store normal amounts of food. 19 Cu. Ft. should be sufficient but the freezer section is too big in proportion with the rest. In addition, there is loss of at least an inch on each side and the back of the 6 tablets and sections, the meat drawer is not deep enough to hold a chicken or a roast (ok for steaks, chops, cold cuts etc.). There is good storage in the door but it impedes on the depth of the fridge. We buy lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and find ourselves moving them around constantly. We wind up feeling very frustrated as we are constantly reorganizing the content of the fridge.
Love the bottom freezer so much more room, easier access wit

I love the fridge, seems so much bigger than my old one which was the same cubic feet. Adjustable bins on the door are great.
