Comments about KitchenAid 19.7 Cu. Ft. French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel:
This refrigerator was installed in our new home by the builder and it has a couple of really nice features. The freezer is large, it has a water filter that's inside the door to avoid messes, easy temperature controls, and the ice maker has a heavy-use speed up feature for parties! Working good so far two weeks into the move...
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

VERY HAPPY WITH NEW KITCHEN AID REFRIG. STAYS AT SET TEMPERATURE AND FOODSTAYS FRESH FOR DAYS WITH NO SPOILAGE. FREEZER STAYS COLD AND NO FLUCTUATION OF TEMPERATURE SO EVERYTHING STAYS FIRM AND FROZEN.
We love the counterdepth and utilization of space in the fridge. The fridge has a small water filtration system so it does not lose a lot of wasted space for this like so many other fridges. We really like the water dispenser in the fridge, instead of the door, as it prevents spills and little hands from pushing the water. The only negative we have found, so far, is that the left side door is hard to shut and many times the fridge will beep as the kids don't push the door hard enough to completely shut it.
Nice use of glass and hinges

Clear bins and shelves make it really easy to see what's where and the sliding shelves makes it really easy to store taller items.

Explored several styles of Frigss, and went with the KItchen Aid. Several reasons - quiet, no out of door dispenser, and energy efficient. Great choice!
Lots of space for a 20 cu.
I moved into a spec home and this was an upgrade. I was alittle hesitant to know that it was a 20 cu. I wanted a larger fridge. It was a good surprise to use the fridge and find that there was so much room due to the design of the fridge. I am very happy with the quality and even temp. I have found in the fridge.

I was taught that if you have nothing good to say, it is better to say nothing at all! You asked, so I am going to tell you! My experience in the past with Kitchen Aid Refrigerators were great. This new one, not so good. The delivery was a disaster. It was installed with a lean and doors that were very uneven...3 tries and it was finally corrected. It was delivered from a team from Philadelphia , PA who were called in to help in Atlanta. I never saw a refrigerator carton? I just had my 4th service in less than 2 months because the condensation/moisture is dripping inside the refrigerator box without the moisture light/button on! We live in a very conditioned space. The freezer builds up a good amount of frost on the front outer edge of the freezer and sometimes I have water on my hardwood floors. The last authorized service technician was very good, checked all the seals and they appear to be new and strong. He did adjust the screws in the freezer drawer so the all sat in the "U"...no luck. It was recommended we get a new refrigerator since it is just been used since the week of July 19th, 2016. I have appealed to the company where I purchased and now to Kitchen Aid. We are a new townhome development and the model home and a neighbor's refrigerator have none of these issues. I cannot at this time recommend this refrigerator to a friend or future owner in this development until our issues are resolved.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Although I wasn't happy with the fact that I had to replace my previous KitchenAid refrigerator after only 11 years I still replaced it with a new similar style by KitchenAid. Time will tell how well this one performs. I would still recommend KitchenAid though. There is quality in the work. Love the new improved looks of the new one. If there is one thing that I would like to see improved it would be the way the water filter goes in. The housing should not be plastic. You almost break it trying to get the used filter out.
